CJMErl: Even *IGN* says so.
http://cube.ign.com/articles/670/670078p1.html
Yami CJMErl: According to ^that^, X-Box 360 is cruising for a major PWNING.
-
Yes, but what does xbox360.ign.com say?
-
More importantly, what does ps3.ign.com say? ;)

ok i am nintendo fan boy and all but.....
your all looking at it from a compeditive stand point.
see nintendo said for them selves that they are not trying to compete in the consol wars you all like to put it. There spirit and soul of the company is not in the system it's in the games. thats what every one needs too look at the games are not maid for a select few there maid for people 3 to 99 they are trying to deliver a sysestem that allows more functionality for games to make them better more simplistic.

The person who wrote that obviously is a suck-up Nintendo fanboi.
BTW, IGN blows.
OLOLLOLOLOlhar

Nintendo says by 2007, once again, they will control the Video Game industry.
Yay!
-
Revolution looks so kickass compared to the others it makes me want to flip out and killl all the Microsoft fanboys ten times over by dropping them into a pit of rabid FFVII fanboys.
-
DUH I AM THE FIGHTER I GIVES AWAY ALL OUR SHINEYS.
BLARG! I AM DEAD!

Funny thing is you couldn't do that, cuz you'd be in that pit of FFVII fanboys. *shot*
Though I'm sure NMX or L are MORE than happy to oblige in your place.

^Your information is outdated.
KS has already played FF6 and realizes how incredibly awesome as hell it is.
-
He should change that last line in his sig then, because it's depressing to read.
-
Agreed, I was going to make a sig for him, but it winded up having Kefka on it and turning into my current one.
Yar.
-
I do b'lieve that it t'was Jody that made that sig. She made another for him earlier, he should change it to that one.
-
lol, half of their reasons were that it doesn't have Nintendo games on it, another reason was a bad photochoppe and yet another was the fact that they were "hard to get a hold of."
About the only valid point was that it cost more money and that the backwards compatability isn't complete, but I doubt the Revolution will be either. BTW, revolution is a shitty name. What are you gonna call the next system Nintendo? The Other Revolution?
-
It's better than Gamecube 2 or Super Gameube. Like all the other console developers seem to be going. That's why I like Nintendo. All of their consoles are completley different from each other. Compare the controllers from each system. They're all completley different. Now look at 360 and PS3. 360's is the exact same thing (Except now it looks more like a Dreamcast controller rip-off than it did before), and the PS3's is the same, just the way it's presented is different.
Almost everything we take for granted from gaming has been taken from Nintendo. Controllers, analog, rumble, a good wireless controller, and now this. It's perfect in every way. This is why they're calling it the Revolution. Although the PS3 and 360 fanboys may be bashing it now, we'll have the last laugh because we have something completley different and fresh, while they have the same old system with updated graphics.
In short, Revolution is a completley appropriate name. If you watched the videos or gave some time to think about it, you'd realize why they choose to keep it.
We've been getting too comfy with gaming for the past few years, it's time for Nintendo to bring something new to the world. Something that will revolutionize the way we play video games.
(Besides, Nintendo's had worse code names. How about playing some SSBM on the Nintendo Dolphin? Heh. Fun fact. Look at the back of any first party Nintendo Gamecube product, like your controller. The model number will always have DOL as the first 3 letters.)
-
I'll show them a revolution!
It may be a good name now, but once it's been out for a while it's gonna a need a nickname of some sort. Like Dolpin, lol.
-
Rev sounds good for a short form of Revolution to me.
Nice speach, by the way, SY. *applauds*

Hey, man, Dolphin wasn't a bad name! And do you remember the logo they had planned for it? Ew!
-
Well..if the Gamecube were still called the Dolphin...it'd atleast have an approprite abrevation. I mean...GCN makes no sense...since it's the Nintendo Gamecube not the Gamecube Nintendo...that abrevation screws up my head D=
-
I call it a "GameCube, n00b".

Sig change, so now I can stop seeming so hypocritic and more to the point and I'm happy to inform you I haven't touched a game disc with the words Final Fantasy VII on them for at least 2 months now kthxbye.
Oh, and Final Fantasy VI is better than your kids
-
Ah, I see you liked the sig I made for you, eh?
Good.
Yar.

Good, good...... *rubs hands together like the Family Guy Firebug*
What if my kids end up in FF VI? [through some stupid plot hole]

CJMErl: ...and the fact that it looks like a George Foreman Grill with a boomerang attached to it doesn't help it either.
