You ALL knew it was gonna happen eventually...

That's the one I was waiting for. Didn't get a GBA until I got my GBASP, either.
-
I said it on CJ's board, and I'll say it here:
Leave it to Nintendo to believe that by cosmetically altering the Hardware, it'll dupe enough people into shelling out even more money to replace a perfectly good system they already own.
Sad thing is, it'll work, too.
-
No, the only people buying this are people like Fate. People who DON'T OWN a DS.
It only worked with the GBA SP. The backlit screen was worth the extra money.
-
Not to mention that the GBASP battery life is fucking incredible. Also, the light is enough to act as a flashlight, which is pretty crazy.
I eventually did end up buying a GBA later for FF:CC purposes, but not until it was much cheaper around here.

I have used the back light as a flashlight many many times.
-
Damn you and your waking up before me!
-
It was handy during Hurrican Wilma.
BTW, Nintendo loves making big things tiny. It makes you wonder. :?
-
Anyway, I may buy this, because, if you ask me, you can never have too many handhelds.
-
I must have it

Quoted for UNSPEAKABLE truth. Hell, I plan on trading up myself when it comes out here.

DS RULES!
-
Le gasp, another DS lover!
-
HEATHEN!
JUST KIDDING I LOVE DS TOO!
-
DS has so many cool games. Phoenix Wright, Mario Kart, Sonic Rush...gawd I'm in heaven.
Even Ouendan is the bomb!
-
I can guarantee you that Nintendo fanboys will deffinetly do anything to get their hands on that little item.
Proving once again that a company can turn in profit if they have a small fanatical fan base.
Just to clarify though, I don't own a PSP and I don't plan to.
-
Not PSP...ever
-
Meh, I might get it and sell the old DS... if i ever get enough money
-
I know, just wanted to make sure with you guys that i'm not a Sony freak.
-
I think I'll end up buying 4 DS lites...

Trading up? Tsk, tsk, CJ.
-
Hey, I'd keep both, but then I'd have to deal with even MORE of my Mom's criticism.
Hell, I'm lucky as it is she lets me keep both my SP and my DS...and I haven't even TOLD her about the micro...
-
I beileve, I may trade in the DS for this. It looks like it will be easier to use, since the DS's control system wasn't the greatest. The orginal DS is a bit...bulky.
Plus this may solve the touch screen issue.
-
I'm glad the DS has SNESDS, it's a really cool emulator that's already out.
-
Go DS!
-
Thought you might like to see this: a graph comparing Japanese sales of DS and PSP.

DS Lite: Freakin' Awesome

DS RULES!
Word up.
-
My favorite DS game is Jump Superstars.
-
I can't stop using it.
-
A DS LITE?!
What a surprise...
I need one ASAP.
