Aaaaahhh yes.... the good old Original Game Boy...! I loved it so! Games for it like Tetris, Super Mario World 2, Pokemon Yellow, Megaman, etc. were SO cool! Too bad it's obsolete(Although I have no idea why :? )I found it in my closet after years of not playing with it no more, since I had new ones like Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, etc. I didn't want to throw it away. How about you guys? You'all ever had the GB? :)

I had one from 1994-1996

Never leave your Game Boy in an unlocked car with around 10 games.  You'll regret it.  I got a Game Boy Pocket soon after it was stolen, heh.  Still'l never replace the original.  I love the cabbage green screen and the big buttons.

I still have yet to buy most of the games that got stolen back.  *sigh* Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge and Mega Man II, I'll miss you.

I was never too intersted in the Gameboy, to be honest. I had a Gamegear. =D
I got a Gameboy Color when they first came out though...only games I ever had were Zelda and Pokemon though. xD

If I still had mine I'd play it. But it died in transport.=( I loved playing games like Flipull, Ishido, Pokemon Red... Gahh... All my games, save for Pokemon, were stolen from me.

Anyways, ahhhh good times! I still buy games for it, since I threw away the old ones except Tetris cause they were crap! But the games I have these days are awesome! :D

I don't think it's a good idea to play it in fronnt of people, though... what do you guys think?

Actually, my brother did. The Game Boy was originally his, and he didn't like some games like Terminator, for example. I didn't like them either. So, there ya go, we threw them away, but not the system itself. I kept most of the games like Tetris, for example. :)

Hey, have you'all ever used the Game Boy Camera and the Game Boy Printer? They look kinda cool, for the fact that your Game Boy can be used as your video game and a camera. When you take pics, you can print them out! I mean, check 'em out!

I used to have a GameBoy Camera, but I never had the printer. My Camera died though... It had a lot of good memories on it... I need to get a new one.

CJMErl: I never owned the original Game Boy.  My first system ever was the Game Gear (which ultimately kicked off my love for Sonic games).  I didn't get a Game Boy until '98, which is when I got a Lime Greem GBC, and Pokemon Gold / Silver.

Honestly, I hate the Sonic games on Game Gear. Don't get me wrong, Game Gear is a beautiful system, but the Sonic games on it just suck out loud.

I like the original GameBoy more than Game Gear anyway. Now, don't get me wrong, Game Gear was in color and infinatly better, but it weighed ten more pounds, and in fact broke through my pockets. It also had no battery life. I guess that's why GameBoy won and Game Gear didn't...

Yes, ever since about 2003 I'd say, Gamestop has been slowly getting rid of their NES, Super NES, and Genesis stocks.  Even worse, now that Xbox 360 is out, many Gamestops are now getting rid of their PSX and N64 games!

Funcoland kicked Gamestop's ass.  I wish Gamestop never bought it out...oh well.

I have Yellow and Mario Delux, but they're all packed away at the moment.

And, going outside? Pah! I used to bring my original GameBoy to school! I'd play my GBA SP for a while, then put it away and whip out my brick. Hell, I'd walk around playing Pokemon Red on that! Even the wiggers and emos thought I was awesome for it, too! Having the nads to play Pokemon like that isn't being a dork. Wearing a blue Mario Shirt that says "POWER UP!" while doing that is.

In other news, I scored Kirby's Dream Land with the box and inserts (It'd be complete, but no instruction booklet, yet funnily enough, the poster and Nintendo Power insert are there) for only $10.  Same goes with TMNT 2.

Sometimes, I mostly play Tetris on the Game Boy, 'cause it's so fun! As much as I really enjoy other games like, Megaman IV, Metroid II, and Kirby's Dream Land, Tetris is the most addicting! :D  That, and the fact that it was the first game that came with the Game Boy.
