It *was* Metool in just about every MegaMan game up to BN1. After that, every MegaMan game (including the X and Zero Series) began calling them "Mettaurs". Why? I have...NO idea.

First off, it's one of those words where I don't even know how to pronounce. Is it Met-tar or Met-tower? Nobody knows.

Plus, I hate when game companies change names.

ROBOTNIK > EGGMAN
DRAGON WARRIOR > DRAGON QUEST
SLASH MAN > BEAST MAN

And so on.

Actually, Dragon Warrior has always been Dragon Quest, they just changed the name in the US because there was some D&D game named Dragon Quest
