Well, Protoman seems to show disdain for CD Rips, notice how many of the games ripped off CDs are gone now (The Sonic Boom album, Sonic R, etc).  Hell, I would contribute my Guardian Heroes rip in a second, because it's some of the best music from Treasure, but seems that I can't anymore.
