If you want some free AWESOME games,
http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/index_e.html

this website makes free, downloadable shooters that will easily surpass most console games' replay value. There are many games to get, but if you're too lazy to check it out, ive made a review right here

rRootage: This is a top-scrolling shooter that focuses more on dodging REDICULOUSLY INSANE barrages created by a randommly generated boss. There are many modes, each with a new feature and challenge.

NoizS2A: Another top-scrolling shooter (it even uses the same ship as  rRootage), this one is about dodging crazy barrages made by numerous enemies and collecting their remains for points.

Tumiki Fighters: A Side-scrolling shooter where you play as a toy plane against a TON of other toys. If you can catch an enemy's ship before it reaches the bottom of the screen, it becomes fused to you and you can use it's weapon along with your machine gun. Once you are hit, all extra weapons are destroyed, but you can start all over again (I once had a plane that took up half of the screen).

Torus Trooper: The newest and my new favorite, this is the fastest paced shooter you'll ever play (especially on extreme mode) All it is is traveling through a tube shooting enemies, but it is SOOOOO fast, and the effects are amazing.

In conclusion, GO TO THIS REDICULOUSLY AWESOME WEBSITE ahem yes, it is definetly worth your while, especially since each game is like 6-9 megs and the effects and music are amazing

edit: I forgot to mention that the website freely distributes the programs it uses to make the barrages, random numbers, and anything else

Music / Megaman Zero?
« on: March 28, 2005, 02:06:55 pm »
I loooove roms!

Of course the music isnt as good, but i think roms are a good way to play a game thet you dont have. I have all of the Megaman roms, and if it werent for them i wouldnt know all of the songs by heart. Sure, it's illegal to have them, but using a rom to test a great game could help you decide whether to buy it or not.

yea i totally agree i know Capcom has the ability to make awesome music (or else this website wouldn't really exist), so you'd assume that they wouldn't even have similarities, especially in short intros

yea i remeber listening to that in disbelief

also, does anyone see how Plantman's and Quickman's song sounds VERY much alike in the beginning? I always thought that Capcom couldve done a differnet tune to be more different, but maybe they were running out of ideas

I'm sure a lot of you have already tried/done it, but this is for people REALLY bored or confident.

www.notpron.com

an internet riddle game consisting of 81 levels (not to mention the  negative levels afterward), you'll have to utilize EVERY computer skill you know to solve this game. The game's spoiled if you use a walkthrough tough, but the designers constatly change the game around to prevent a perfect guide.

Have fun

Mugenmidget, would you happen to know if the remixed music in the Anniversary Collection is new or from the complete works albums?
