Either way, nice to see you here.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox's AdBlock myself, which basically just lets you zap any and every type of ad away.

?! they never put int x7 and 8 whats wrong with them X_X its almost like killing kenny from south park using Maverick Zero  that didnt make any sense did it?

You do realize those games suck right?

I doubt that's why they didn't put them in though.

It really boils down to the fact that those are "next generation" games that wouldn't fit too well in a retrospective collection.  Not to mention they're probably friggin' huge.

Also notice Capcom's careful avoidance of the word "anniversary."  Granted I'm pretty sure it isn't Megaman X's anniversary, but I think they also avoided it since that term sounds a little more all encompassing than just collection.

With all of that taken into consideration, I'd still like to see X7 or X8 possibly packaged as a "bonus" game for preordering.  Especially if they were Gamecube ports.

i personally think music would of been a lot better if they allowed Bruce Faulconer to remix the music for megaman x annerviersy colletion if you ever seen the shows that faulconer did

What else has Faulconer done besides Dragonball Z?  That's not a sarcastic question, it just seems like you know some others and I'd like to hear what they are so I can go check it out.

But unfortunately I'd probably side a bit with Superyoshi.  I really prefer the original score, but I think the stuff Faulconer did was still pretty fantastic.  He seems very savvy about the "technical" side of music, so he might be a great remix man.  But if Capcom was going to make remixes, I'd doubt they'd go that far to outsource it.

Still an interesting thing to think about...Faulconer style music in a Megaman game.

WOW. thanks so much for pointing this out. who knows how long it would have taken me to find out on my own. his part 1 is pretty special to me because he allowed me to use the final five notes in the oldest metroid 2002 station id.

No sweat.  I'd thought you would enjoy it because of your Metroid "connection," but I had no idea you were that close to it.  :)

If you haven't listened to virt's mega Super Metroid melody which covers every song (except Wrecked Ship Ambience according to him) from the game, you're missing out.

It's a monster length wise, about 21 minutes...but it's pretty much worth your time.

Because they're impossible to record without having the sounds/voices left in.

I actually think I have said tracks, not too sure.

YEa season two rocked. I liked how the mavricks came from the future. It was tight to see MegaMan X kick some mavrick ass.

But you gotta give props to season one if you like "action."  Nothing beats some of the fairly well drawn action scenes in the first episode.

Actually, the only PB remix in the Rockman 3 (CW version) was CloudMan's.

Basically, most of the songs for the CW come from PF.

Whoa there little doggy, you surely forget the "select" remixes.
I did? My bad.

Yeah, and I'm sure there's a few others.

BUT THAT said I think a complete rip of Power Battles is still a great idea for completion sake.

m.midget, are you familiar with this?

Yes, and I think you even can get it on the Gamecube version.

These are just songs that you unlock that you can access from the menu.  You stare at the menu art and listen to the song basically.

Your best bet of getting it would be to rent/buy the PS2 Anniversary Collection for an ADX rip.
