I'm not sure if Nero rips exact copies, but I occasionally use Nero for encoding files.  It's my only mp3PRO encoder, and Winamp always crashes on my computer now if I try to play any kind of song, even after reinstalling (this phantom menace happened to my friend and wouldn't stop for a long time, so I guess with a bit of time....)

Is it winamp v.  5.09? I found v 5.09 to not be the best. I stick to my v. 5.04

Well, I find alternatives to Winamp now.. yeah, it's 5.09 Pro.

I use Foobar2000 for almost everything.  WMP for MIDI only.  Monkey's Audio frontend and dbPowerAmp for converting files.  iTunes for converting MIDIs to other formats.

I don't feel like fixing Winamp, so I'm improvising...

I like teh plugin system for Winamp mostly. I like to listen to PSF's and SPC's. (by the way, does anyone know where I can get a OMPLETE Castlevania, SOTN psf set? The one at Zophar.net and other places only has 2 tracks.)

I thought we covered that....

The PSF is an emulation format.  The PSF input plugin emulates the PlayStation synth, and the PSF files contain the instrument data.  Therefore, PSFs can only be made from sequenced songs, not streaming songs.

No, No. I only want the SOTN PSF library for my own reasons. I only want to listent o them, maybe convert to mp3 with that trick you showed me, then put the best songs on a CD for my own purposes.

Still, does anyone have a clue of where to find it? Or, heck, how do you make PSF's?

The point I was trying to make was that there are only two sequenced songs in Castlevania: SotN.  The rest of the music is all streamed, and can be ripped by any XA ripper.

Therefore, the two-song PSF set is the complete PSF set.

Oh... Crap. So, those two psf songs are the only ones that'll ever be in psf format? That sucks. Oh, well. All the better when it comes here. (if it does)

You'll need a Fileplanet account, but you can download the SotN OST right here http://www.classicgaming.com/castlevania/cd/nitm-cd.htm

wOOt! I have a  fileplanet account! Yay!
Does the OST lack a couple songs, or is it one of those big 2-cd ones?
And Lacus, you can use my Fileplanet account. I'll PM you my password.
