No. I should not. And Swift, don't worry about ruining the plot, I'm not at all interested in it.

Anyway, to join an IRC chat room, one needs to download a chat program first. I suggest Trillian, mIRC, or HydraIRC. For newbies I'd reccomend Trillian or mIRC. mIRC will probably be a smaller download, because it's made for just IRC, while Trillian connects to Yahoo, MSN, AIM, or IRC, and probably more that I don't know about. When you decide which you want (or rather, I think you already haev Trillian) I'll give you a more detailed description of how to get in.
