So is this like, an SPC equivilant thing, or more like ripping from a Playstation track, where it takes a certain program to do it and stuff?

Or something totally different that I'm unaware of?

SNES music is synthesized, or sequenced.

Most music on discs are streamed, or are already in a digital music format, rather than using a console's soundboard.
