Some times I am inclined to think you're making it all up... And that's all I have to say about that. :)
-
No no, A natural assumption. It's fully natural to think that it's all an act. However, let's look at the facts.
Kary: A girl I've known all my life, since birth. She attands the same church as me, and almost all the same schools. (elementary I was alone for.) When she was 6 she learned that I could be hurt, and when she was 12 she learned that pieces of lumber make awesome weapons. Is in love with Broom.
Lacus: A girl I met this year, when I was in grade 11. She is supposed to be in grade 9, but is so unreally smart that she skipped two grades while younger. She was chased out of house and home from her parents, and she ran to my place. She now is my legal sister and has a room right beside mine. Currently is a little confused about things....
Broom: Met him in grade seven, has the historic mentioning of actually cementing us as a team. (third member and all) He has an avid interest in nuclear power and mechs, combining them both in his Warmech, his official mech. Broom plays a MEAN game of GUNSTAR HEROES, and we often call him the Broom Bomb while playing. An utter master at RTS games. Is in love with Kary.
Garland: Met him in eighth grade, also happens to be my cousin. He has incredible strength, weight and bulk. (not to be taken 'lightly'. XD) He plays football and rugby, and can forge medievil weapons and armor from a simple piece of iron. Was in love with Kayla, but she has left and he is a lonely man.
Kagemitsu: The late best friend of me, Kagemitsu was someone who was comepletely mute. He could make no sound, other than his wonderful whistling ad any physical means of hitting something. He was madly in love with Lacus, but now he can do nothing about it. He was sadly prematurely killed by falling down 30 steps of stairs. Was in love with Lacus.
Faris: Certaintly an oddball in the group (who isn't? XD) she has grown up having no experience ever in video games. The first time she played a game was when she watched him playing Descent, and she instantly fell in love with it. She pushed Swift to the side, asked for controls, and was playing like a natural. She is an oddball in the group by the fact that (yes, I have permission from her to say this) Faris is indeed a lesbian. (DUN DUN DUN!)
Swift: Someone who has heard that his ultimate niceness skills are unparalelled by anyone. He is nice to anyone he feels deserves his kindness, and protects his friends from those who would not be so kind. He has a calcavade of DOS games, plenty of windows CD games, and a reputation on the internet. Is in love with Sophih/morrigan.
So, Lazlo. Look at the facts. What isn't believeable about it?
-
Yes, what isn't believeable about that, Lazlo? How you could even ASSUME that, I don't know. Can't a really nice guy get good rewards? So his number of female friends finally surpassed his number of guy friends. Is there a problem with that?
-
I dunno, still seems unrealistic to me....
But then again, I doubt everything I hear....so I don't count.
-
Well, if it WAS made up, wouldn't I have more bisexual girls? Maybe a catgirl or two? Or do you doubt Morrigan's existence too?
-
If you want a fairy tale, you can do that.
-
Well, really, I can't see what you guys doubt. It's all perfectly true, as I would know. *feels head wounds caused by Kary*
-
Why I don't believe? Becuase I've been showed no proof. And my Faith is all gone now adays....with few exceptions...
-
Well, I can understand your doubt Trigger, but not Lazlo's, unless he thinks the same as you. I can't wait for a digital camera....
-
Sounds about right to me really. Not speaking from personaly experience mind you, but I know a guy in about the same position. I honestly don't see anything wrong here, and I'm the kind of guy who doubts his own existance.
-
Thank you, Skull. Good to see at least one person, however unstable he may be, to see the truth about my good/bad life.
-
Don't get it confused Swift. I may have said it was unrealistic. But never ONCE did I say I didn't believe you about it.
I may have lost most of what's left of my Faith, but I still have some left, I even said that.
Besides, what do you get out of lying to me? Nothing I'd guess....
-
True, what do I have to gain about lying? Not just to you, Trigger, but to TPH in general. What's to gain?
-
Thank you, Skull. Good to see at least one person, however unstable he may be, to see the truth about my good/bad life.
Sweet, I'm unstable. *tries to stand on one leg...then falls over*
-
Well, Trigger says you can be serious, but I'vve only seen you like that once. However, I've seen Trigger serious quite a few times. Be more serious, less GIMME J00R MON3Y and stuff, and then maybe I should stop talking now before you take my money.
-
Skull wouldn't say 'GIMME J00R MON3Y'. That's SOOOO uncool to say.
He'd have to say 'G1MM3 J0()R M()N3Y!!!!!!'
-
Ah, I got it wrong. Thank you, Trigger.
-
I was going to post something funny about it being made up by the Canadian Tourist agencies, but you guys took me too seriously. No, I believe you Swift, you've been an awesome guy so far, and I can't see any reason for you to lie about this. Your life may seem a bit... unreal, but I believe it.
-
Come on, guys...I hope this is some kind of joke. If it is, it's areally mean one. I believe Swiftman. I can tell when someone's lying about something. And it's pretty obvious he isn't.
-
By the way, Swift, being a lesbian doesn't make you odd, that's a horrible thing to say.
-
i think he meant odd one out, like all his other friends are hetero.
-
Faris is indeed different than the rest of us, but hey, we ain't complaining. She's alright to us. Faris is the first girl to actually put up a decent fight in Descent. (those homing missiles... Damn, she knows how to use them.)
Anyways, I understand that my setup here IS a bit unreal, and the way you spoke Lazlo, made it seem like you actually doubted me. Whenever someone doubts me, they say one thing and stay silent. Always. It's always been like that for me. They state their doubt and say no more. So, I'm sorry I took you seriously. I usually expect a *shot* or XD after something like that.
WHEEHOO! (my new favorite yell. used to be GUNSTAR HEROES, but now it's WHEEHOO!)
-
I'm seriouse when I need to be.
There was a point in which I had more friends who were girls than guys. Then I moved. Then again, that time dosn't count, at least in my mind. I only had three friends then. All of whom were girls.
So, seriously, I guess I can relate. I just chose to block that part of my life out. I was soooooooooo lonely then. Probebly why I'm the way I am today. I need attention to survive.
Back to normal abnormal self mode again.
ARUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!
-
WWWWHHHHHHEEEEEEHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I gots virtually everything I want in life!
-
Well aren't you lucky?
-
That he is. I can't think of what he wants that he doesn't have, to be frank.
-
Success and fame at the hands of Snowcraft.
-
WWWWHHHHHHEEEEEEHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I gots virtually everything I want in life!
You keep it that way Swift....keep it that way....
-
Seriously, though, this topic was supposed to be about Swift's exploits being a plot by the Canadian Tourist Board. So just leave it alone and let it die in peace. Or not, but make sure to give it a proper sendoff.
-
How would Swiftman be related to the Canadian Tourist Board?
-
Perhaps it's because I'm just too old, but Swiftman's life doesn't sound unreal or extraordinary by any means.
I would recommend a strong dose of adventure for you all.
Zaijian,
Tiger
-
THAT'S What I was thinking! Thank you, Tiger. I had forgotten.
-
Most welcome. ::salutes::
Zaijian,
Tiger
-
I try to cram as much adventure into my life as possible, but you know... it's not so easy in Alabama.
-
Why is that so unbelievable? o.0 My 2 very best friends ever are men.
OMGWTFBBQ!!1!one!1! They're MEN!!1!
It's a fact, people of the opposite gender always make better friends. Or so I find anyway, though I'm sure many would agree.
-
I would, Bu. Swiftman makes a much better friend than Kat and Elaine ever did. (and for reasons that will remain unknown, they are not my friend sanymore. There is only Swiftman..... And Lacus, Kary, Phex, Broom, Garland, and a few more here and there.....)
-
You didn't mention me :(
And anyway, guys, it's not about all of his friends being girls. That's perfectly normal. However, the things that happen to him... it seems like it's all out of a weird book.
-
I was listing only people he met in person, Lazlo.
A wierd book he should publish! Yeah!
-
Swift and I have met! There was that one time about a four years ago...
-
Well lets put it that way: I find somethings too odd indeed, like eveyone only posting in Swift's PC and the fact that he is a very creative lad and writes damn well would make it very possible for him to make things up, but then why would him do it? Note that opposite to trig, I believe in anything and anyone until proven contrary, my dear Bu knows that very well about that :) So I believe you, but really have to say the set of events, not just in Swift life, but for the ppl around him is kinda fantastic.
Again if I tell somethings about me, would seem too normal either, even all my relationship with Bu, as she said, could become a romance XD
-
That's not true, my life's pretty average. Actually, it's extremely mediocre.
-
Pll around him I meant the ones who he meets usually for real and that shares his PC :P
-
Yeah, those Canadians... silly communists. *bricked*
-
ROFL!!! *looking at the Pyro-GX approaching Lazlo after this one XD
-
Yeah, you do that, I'll watch for the angry mail bombs.
-
mail bombs are better than mail-poison gas XD
-
The reason we all share Swift's PC is this:
Kary: Not having an internet capable computer
Lacus: Lives in the same freaking house
Faris: Hasn't even been to his house, and didn't know of TPH beforehand
Broom: Supposedly has a parental block on all his forums, and can't contact him
Garland: Lives in a town that doesn't even have postal service, let alone a proper internet. Probably wouldn't post on TPH or bump Swift off his msn even if he was here
Kagemitsu: Kinda DEAD
So you see, there's reasons why we all use his comp. Naturally, me and Swift always fight for dominance over it. Now with Faris, it will be even harder.
-
So what, is Faris staying with Swift now too?
Wait, I meant Ferris, the real one, you know the drill.

-
For the weekend, then she'll be with us for next week, and after that we're done camping, so she may hang around Swift's place quite a bit, and not be at home very often. Well, can't blame her. From what she says, it's BORING at her place. At least at Swift's place there's Descent, Privateer, Abuse, Gunstar Heroes, so on and so forth.
-
Yeah, I'd probably do the same thing if I could... Swift's house seems like a popular spot.
-
I try to cram as much adventure into my life as possible, but you know... it's not so easy in Alabama.
My advice: leave. That's what I did.
Zaijian,
Tiger
-
Naah, I love my family and want to stay near them. However, traveling is something I plan on doing with my life.
-
Then I shall alter my advice thusly! Leave... for a little while. HAH!
Zaijian,
Tiger
-
I hear Canada is nice this time of year.
-
Okay, buy me some plane tickets. I'll show you n00bs the greatness of the GameCube.
-
Gane Cube would be great if it hosted all Snes tittles by adaptor XD
-
SNES was too great to ever be succesfully cloned.
-
And the Gamecube controller would make playing Metal Warriors a bitch.
-
But makes Super Smash Bros Melee and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! a dream.
-
True, but still, I gotta have the original SNES controller for MW. Ah, the day that Kag beat Broom.... Damn, that little guy was good at that game. Always beat me.
-
The main desing flaw of the SNES controller was that when you beat your opponent and spiked the controller, it broke.
-
They're simple and easy to fix. Some crazy glue and electrical tape and it's good as new.
-
But it's not the same. A GameCube controller, on the other hand, was meant to be thrown at your defeated opponent (here-to-forth referred to as "bitch") whilst yelling, "HA, EAT IT FOOL!! WHO'S NUMBER ONE NOW? LUIGI!"
-
ROFL, HOW DID I MISS THIS THREAD. FUCKING AGED.
-
Lazlo brings up a valid point.
-
Age Man saves the day.
-
Canada: Where the men are men and the women don't exist.
-
Mmmm...a year has passed since then, huh.
-
Yeah, that was TPH's heyday.
-
Cool?
-
Wow, I feel old.
-
Me too.
