Hey guys. On a whim a few months ago, I hopped on the net and ran a search for The Protoman Homepage, having enjoyed going there several years ago. This is what I found, including a post (that I can't find at the moment) that mentioned the anniversary of TPH's demise. :( It also had a picture and a challenge to name all the folks therein. I don't know why I didn't post then, but regardless, several months later and with more time on my hands I've returned.
Several years ago, TPH, The Man in Blue (Spectra's), The Alternate Universe, The Mega Man Homepage, had this huge Mega Man revival thing going. I was a regular on TAU's message boards. I was Titanrod, if any of you were there. Doc and Saber were good people, who made some good music, stories, sprites... and have no doubt moved on. Anyway, I may just be blabbering to people who don't care, but dancing around the posts I find some pretty interesting subject matter. So, maybe I'll get some replies.

Sadly no, I am not Tigre. ::nods at protoman:: I hope that doesn't dissappoint you all too much, Trigger especially. :P You're an interesting group, and something really is hammering at my nostalgia bone here. Of course you're all very familiar with each other, and it's always difficult to break into a something like that. You all should know, I have a knack for being very honest, a truth whore, for better or worse. So, I hope to stick around and explore my mind while I get to know this place again. If things don't work out, other things in life await.
Okay, what is shanking? I must know what is being done unto me! I get the feeling Swiftman should hold on to his shankbagging title. ><

P.S. - Swiftman, sorry about your troubles. I won't say much since it's usually a bit forward and rude (imo) for someone who doesn't know you and whom you don't know to advise you in such personal matters, but Trigger's right in many ways. The only thing I'd change is that it's not just doing what's fun, it's doing what's right for you. Sometimes, that includes crying a little. It's almost creepy how similar your situation is to something I experienced a few years back. I won't pretend to know all the important details, but if you care to, know that if nothing else, you're not alone. One's burden is half as heavy to an understanding friend, or even an understanding stranger. ;) Hang in there mate.

They're not bad fold, Tigre, I joined not too long ago, and I guess I seem familiar. Most of us here live in the same town, Trigger, Herb, Protoman, and I are really the only ones not there... Oh yeah, Sophih too. You woulnd't know it though when Swift talks about her ¬.¬

A kevlar body suit won't doa thing against Kary. She knocked out a guy that had a full-on medieval suit of armor (looked exactly like Garland from FF1) and all she had was a 2x4, and she still knocked him out, and she didn't take the helmet off or nothing.
And Tiger: Each newbie at TPH gets a certain amount of Grace Points with Kary. Lazlo started with 5, but he worked them down QUICK. Triggar had seven to start with, but as soon as he started making avatar pictures of Black Mage hitting on Kary, he lost them SNAP! like that. I'd say you have..... 8 if you're a guy, 15 if you're a girl.

It was a thing that WWE set up. They got a bunch of hot chicks together, they did some stuff like obstacle courses and mud wrestling, and then people could go online and vote for their favorite. Naturally, I avoided the show really. Stuff like that doesn't really make me excited anymore. Only certain things can, like in-person scantily clad women. It's no good on TV.

Having children is such an enormous responsibility that the people who realize just how enormous it is, aren't sure if they're up to the task, and have no or very few children. Those that treat their children more like thoughts, pets, or baggage are usually the ones who never actually considered what it must really be like.
It is a scientific fact that most intelligent people have few if any children, while most dumb people (if you will) have many. If you don't like "facts" and "statistics" that are made up of numbers and calculations, you could always just drop by the local elementary school (or somewhere else that children and their parents gather) and see for yourself.
Although, if you're the sort of person who thinks that every baby is cute, and that they are toys to be coo'd at and passed around, and poked, and tittered over, you are disqualified automatically.
My point? If you realize what a burden AND privilege it is to raise a child, go for it. If not, please, please, PLEASE dont' reproduce.

And yes, I do know how hard it is to raise a child. I haven't done it before, but my sister is a single mom, and it is very hard. It would be much better with two in the act, but it's not like I would have 8 kids in 5 years.
And I really do think a lot of babies are cute, but that's not all thet they're good for. Why, my brother would have mutilated me on several consecutive occasions had the baby not been in the room to cry whenever someone fought.
But, that's me. I'm different than a lot of people.

For those that don't know, the Lazlmobile is my custom made machine, part Arwing, part Blue Falcon, all awesome. Normal cruise speed is 5840 km/h (lowered for F-Zero GPs to give others a chance) the Lazmobile is a bit smaller than the Black Bull, but made of a lightweight material for maximum speed. A Nissan 248-XM 480 Series R G-Diffuser keeps it 2 1/2 inches above the ground.

For those of you who don't know, the Skiver is my official mech. It has 20 inch Andridium armor, an alloy of Andrium and Tritanium, which is part radioatctive so it absorbs nuclear fallout and takes 50% damage from nuclear and fusion based attacks. The Skvier has full flight capabilities, including underwater, air and space travel. The following armaments are included in the Skvier:
-Twin Vulcan and Gaus guns
-Quad lasers (lever 6)
-Concussion, homing, smart, mega, flash, mercury, and Zeon missiles
-Scatterpack missile launcher
The thrust of the Skiver comes from 80 Inter-phased drives, the the thrust is up to 9800 degrees celcius. It can incinerate all but the most powerful metals within seconds. The Skvier has different speeds depending on the conditions. Max 500 mph underwater, 9000 mph in air, and up to 3.5 lys (lightyears per hour)

For all of you who don't know. My Machine code named "Barrel Roll" is one I made myself. Then I attached 4 emblems, all saying "DO A BARREL ROLL", one on each wing, one on the windshield, and one on the base of it. It sucks, but damn do I look cool in it. 8)

It depends on how good you are at it... it takes different skills than fighting, however being a good fighter sometimes helps.
And instead, say "If I said you had a beautiful body, would you strip?"
