We all know that the Megaman series has the best music around, but what is the best?

MM1: personally I think that this game has awful music
MM2: Metalman
MM3: Sparkman/Snakeman
MM4: Cossack 1, Dustman
MM5: Darkman Stages
MM6: Centaurman
MM7: Shademan, Intro, Wily Stage 1
MM8: Frostman
Rockman and Forte: King Stages

MM1 GB: Both Wily Stages
MM2 GB: Magnetman
MM3 GB: Wily Stage
MM4 GB: Wily Stage
MM5 GB: Neptune



there really isn't a BEST song, but this is what I could narrow it down to  :D

protoman:
hmm. some favorites from the first six games (more later when i have more time):

mm: ending (lol, ouch)
mm2: wily #1 (so hard to pick!)
mm3: wily #2 (just beautiful)
mm4: stage select (love the music in this game ... hard to pick again)
mm5: last boss (just so cool)
mm6: ending (go taking one of the best points of sonic music)

Gemini Man:
I'll just do 1-8.

MM 1-Bombman stage
MM2-tie-Wily Stage 1, Wood Man stage, Heatman stage, Metal Man stage, and Flash Man stage
MM3-GEMINIMAN STAGE PWNS YOU ALL!
MM4-Toad Man stage
MM5-Gravity Man stage
MM6-Centaur Man
(I never got far in MM7 or 8)
MM7-Intro
MM8-Intro and Tengu Man stage

MM2: wily stage 1 (what?)
MM3: Gemini man
MM4: Dunno
MM5: same here.

Swiftman:
Well, I have a number of favorites.

mm1: elecman. It's different from all the other stage musics.
mm2: The first wily stage song, especially the power fighters upgraded version.
mm3: SPARKMAN! Damn, that song is great.
mm4: Diveman. It's quite relaxing...
mm5: I found Chargeman's theme to be pretty catchy.
mm6: The boss song. One of the best in megaman history, I think.
mm7: The fianl battle song. That'd make a sweet song if upgraded to 32-bits like in megaman X4+.
mm8: I like the boss song here too.
mm9: Dynamoman has a sweet song. I like it.

mmx: Flame Mammoth! THAT is a good song.
mmx2: Zero's theme. If you've heard it, you'd like it too.
mmx3: I came up with lyrics to the tunnel rhino song.
mmx4: Magma dragoon has the priveledge of having an excellent stage music.
mmx5: The people who made Dynamo's theme were genius's.
mmx6: The sigma battle. Nice remix of the old, with some of the new.
mmx7+: Haven't played the ps2 megaman's.

mmz: The trane stage is brilliant!
mmz2: The plain walking around the base song. I like songs that sound like they'd be in a military movie.
mmz3: The first stage boss guy, aegis volcano area. Forget the boss name.
The megaman Zero series would make an excellent addition to the tph music section, I think.

mmL: The Gesellschaft I think is a cool name for an airship and it has an excellent theme song to boot.
mmL2: Never played it, so I wouldn't know.
