How can you have the FF games on SNES if you live in Europe and don't import?
Diamond and Pearl, maybe?
There's not much difference between the GBA and DS when it comes to Final Fantasy. For one thing, the second screen is barely used in FF3, and the touch pad controls aren't used at all. Secondly, if you still insist on playing a Final Fantasy game on your DS, just put any of the 3 GBA remakes into your DS and play it off of there, you won't notice the difference. (Actually, the only difference there is that the 3 games on the GBA are far superior to FF3, so in which case, just buy them instead.)
So in other words, you repeated most of his list, except you left out Legends 1 and 2?
I think the only really weak titles in the X series were X6, X7 and Command Mission. X6 was just so badly translated and had a bunch of cheap deaths, and X7 had some of the worst controls ever in a Mega Man game. Command Mission wasn' that bad, but the game play got boring after a while. X1, X2 and X3 were lots of fun to play, and were some of the best Mega Man games out there. X4 was good, but not as good. X5 suffered from the same problem. X8 is lots of fun to play, and has great reply value, but some of the stages pissed me off.
Keep in mind, I like all the X games, except maybe X7, but after X4, the decline becomes pretty noticeable.
If you want to watch animu, just use torrents or buy the goddamn dvds. Sunrise, Toei, and all the other Japanese animation companies have been really pissy about Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha, Death Note, Lucky Star, Harui Suzimyia (or however you spell it) and pretty much any other of today's popular animes appearing there and all.
ALSO, THIS THREAD IS OLD. WHAT'S WITH BUMPING THESE TOPICS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH.
That was a tech demo that's probably never going to happen. It was only made to show the capabilites of the system. If it were true, then FF6 would have been remade on the N64, and FF8 would have been remade on the PS2.
Final Fantasy VII needs to die. It's nowhere near the best Final Fantasy game and the spinoffs and merchandising are an absolute travesty to the franchise.
Better than the original X games? Oh ho, that made me laugh.
Oh, and Yamino already owns a DS.
Quote from: HerbYou're missing out on six awesome games. X1-4 and Legends 1-2.Quote from: ElecMan< Hasn't played ZX, and doesn't have any plans to.
quoted for truth, Megaman Classic series is the only MM I play.
Stop being "jelous " and learn how to save your money and do your neighbors favors. It's where I get all my money from , anyways.
I'd honestly save your money, anyway. ZX isn't all that great and I got bored of it after the first hour of playing. It was fun, for a while, but I got sick of it quickly.
If you're looking for sexy, handheld FF action get IV, V or VI. they're all on GBA now.
Also, there's a remake of FF2 coming out on PSP soon.
New video games never hurt. lol. Seriously, sounds pretty interesting. I would like to hear the results

I wouldn't be too anxious to buy FF3, there was a lot of things missing form that game, mainly a plot and a better battle system.
Anyone with info on a good DS emu speak up. There are currently three out there, but to my knowlege (and actual attempts at current games) they only run demo's.
