Laser beams of death!!!

Yeah.  I've heard some stuff about the Sigma stages in X5 having those laser beams similar to the ones in Quick Man's stage from Megaman 2.  Those were a lot of fun to deal with (heavy sarcasm).

Well, there's actually a weapon in the game called "Dark Hold" that freezes time for a few seconds giving you enough time to slip pass the laser beams. That's what I did...

Wow, I'm the only one who likes X5 more the X4.  Anyway, here is my reason why.

I found the music in X4 to be rather annoying at times, waaaaaay too much techno for me.  X5 had some really awsome synth metal tunes to it, but it still doesn't have my favorite soundtrack of the X series.  Anyway, I also enjoyed how X5 sort of tied in the events of the classic series and that of MMX1, then again, so did X4, but not quite to the same extent.  I also enjoyed the voice overs in X5 alot more.  Something about Zero constantly saying "Get ready!" or X going, "Its time to get seriouse" just really got on my nerves.

Aaaaaaaand, thats all I can think of at the moment.  Still, the best game of the X series is X3, but that's not one of the choices.

Actually, you're not alone Skull. I haven't actually said which one I like more. And.............. well, I liked the music in X5 much better than I did in X4. The tunes were alot catchier and who didn't like the X vs Zero theme? One of the better tracks in the game. Also X5 had the ALMIGHTY DUCK!!!  I could crouch down and stuff. But they later removed it in X8, why??? >_<

They removed crouch because it made it too easy.  I don't know, crouching just isn't Megaman's forte.

They still have a slide in X, the dash acts as a slide.  But you can't fire in it and it doesn't look as cool.

or maybe you can, I'm not really sure (if you can fire)

You can fire in the dash, but the slide is actually possible to do. (i can do it when given the space and correct pair of pants) Dash however ends up with your face ramming into the ground.

*points* What Gashy said. I tried to do a dash in real life, but my nose got injured. However, I can do a slide, kinda. I cna't wear jeans and do it. Gotta have the flannel pajama's. Those're great for maneuvering. Too bad they were two sizes too small and I ended up with a pair of Van Halen pants. (Is that what buttless pants are called?)

And grass works just fine for me. I don't like lino. Gotta have grass and dirt. Don't ever have to shamppo it, vacuum, and it only needs a haircut once in a while. (I'm sure Trigger aka T3h SASQUATCH will agree with me)

I can dash....And by dash I mean a long jump face first into a wall. It's not easy landing on your feet when they're behind you mid-air. XD

ha when megaman slides in the classic series, he does it without running (aka he basically just starts sliding from a stand still) which is bananas. and a dust cloud comes up

Ah, it's easy to slide without running first. You just need to push off right and you're on your way. (My slide is a lot more like the slide in Castelvania, Circle fo the moon, where's it's fast slide, but short in distance. Can't do it uphill, but can go a long ways down.)
