Pirates are for lovers.

Pirates are awesome, I just hope I never have to do a jig.

How dare you fool around in my area!

Long ago in a distant land, I aku the shapeshifting demon something something something something. But a foolish samurai warior with a magic sword something something somthing. Before the final blow was struck I trow open a portal in time, where my evil is law!
Fill in the blanks cause I know not what they are.
-
The correct way:
Long ago, in an ancient land, I, Aku, the shapeshifting master of darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil upon the land. A foolish samurai warrior with a magic sword, stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time, where my evil is law.
How'd he do that?
Back to the past
Samurai Jack!
Gotta get back
Back to the past
Samurai Jack!

I always hated that God forsaken show.

I always hated that God forsaken show.
Dude, did you watch more than the first three episodes? I, too, hated those, but after watching some more of the series I found it was really cool.
-
I thought it was cool. I liked the style.

I am a gentleman.

Samurai Jack kicks major ass.

One of the few grand Cartoon network shows.
-
I liked the style, but overall hated the excrutiatingly repetitive (and long) episodes. Seriously, are the Japanese the only ones making cartoons that will end after two seasons?
-
What about Megas XLR?
-
NOTHING, repeat, NOTHING, can beat Megas XLR. Nothing newer than 10 years, anyways. [Gargoyles is the closest thing in that time period, well.... 1994 about, so never mind....]
-
Whoa, I just realised something about cartoons... In the 80s, most cartoons came out of America, with a few hits that came from Japan, then in the 90s, almost every cartoon came from japan, or at least tried to emulate thier style, but there were a few gems from Canada, now, most of the cartoons (that I watch, anyways) come from Canada. Weird, eh?
-
I have but one thing to say to that.

RAWKON!!
(Man, I haven't used her in the general public in a long time...)
-
Indeed. TPH needs her as a clickable smiley, like MMtL.
But back to the subject of Canadian cartoons.... *shot*

Dood likes this idea.
-
I love that cartoon too. Totall grand. Too bad it's just a filler cartoon, though. Oh well, now that I see it, I finally know what the hubub about Doodlez is. Sheesh, it's that big a deal? I've seen it a boatload of times, and hardly noticed it......
-
Actually, it's not just a filler anymore, Cellar Door is working on a pilot to fill a 30 minute timeslot.

Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time, and flung him far into the future, where my evil is law. Now, the fool seeks to return to the past, and undo the evil that is Aku!
How'd he do that?

Forget what?

Part of Aku's rant.

INVADER ZIM
-
Invader Zim was the best show ever.
-
Courage the Cowerdly Dog ended after like...3 really spread out seasons.
In my mind, that was still the best show in existance. I never watched Invader Zim.
-
Domo Arrrrrigato, Mr. Roboto!
-
Invader Zim was the best show ever.
That's what all the emo nards say. The fact of the matter is, though, Whose Line is it Anyway is the best show ever.
-
Emo nards are too dumb for Invader Zim.
-
I wish they were... Emonards make it uncool to like Invader Zim. Not that that stops me.
-
Wrong, best cartoon goes to Batmat: The Animated Series.
-
Batmat? Cool. Never heard of it.

In Japan they don't really have seasons though...they just run forever until, the story stops, the creator wants to kill it(damn that Ken Akumatsu), or it's not popular anymore.
Very few things get another "season". Cowboy Bebop did because of whiny little fans.
There is stuff that's been running in Japan for like 10 years, like Detective Conan/Case Closed. <_<
Rocko's my favorite american cartoon.

My favorite wrestling moment from before Taboo Tuesday:
"Oh Carlito,
Oh Carlito,
What you did last week was not cool or neato.
So I guess I'll have to make you bleed-o
Like Rocky and Apollo Creed-o!
On these two fists you will feed-o
as if they were two giant Cheetos!
Or if you're in the mood for cotton tacos,
Say hello to Mr. Socko.
And when the match is all complete-o,
You'll leave skidmarks in your Speedos!
Have a nice day!"
XD!

Guys, you're forgeting how diffrent cartoon are produced in Japan. OAV's usuall have higher budgets than long lasting Animes. This allows for bright and shinny animation, better voice actors, and more things to do.
Shows like Inuyasha, DBZ, Yu-Gi-Oh! and other long lasting shows have a frighteningly low budget. They usually reuse animation frams time and time agian, or the purposely keep charcters still during dialouge and use a special kind of filter to animate the mouths.
Than agian, companies that do that are sells outs.
