Title: Faorite non-megaman game

I personally really like the r-type games by Irem. R-type 3 for the SNES was genius.

Post by: Herb on February 04, 2005, 04:46:33 pm: I just finished Metroid Prime, I loved it. I was so innovative and...sexy...that was the word. The effects are amazing, like how the air is displaced behind a charged beam, or anything you do with the x-ray visor.

Super Metroid is pretty sweet too.

And if you havent guessed, my fave is Tetris by far.

Most of the Zeldas are awesome too. Wind Waker was so fun to play

As for my favorite game.... hmm...
Mario Allstars (the collection)
Mario Rpg (snes)
Final Fantasy VII
Zelda OOT

That's all the recently popps up in my mind. There are some others like Diddy Kong Racing, Perfect Dark / Goldeneye, Halflife, starcraft, and Kirby's Adventure (NES) that left a mark on me, but there are so many "golden oldies" Newer games tend to suck. My favorite recent game would have to be Paper mario 2..................

Another good Game is Wonderboy in Monster world in which I ripped all the helpers, the main character and all the bosses and all the items from the game:

If you liked gunstar heroes, try Contra, the hard corps also for the genesis.

Post by: Superyoshi on July 24, 2005, 01:11:22 pm: People say the original (Radiant Silvergun) was better (It was only released in Japan for Sega Saturn), but Ikaruga is VERY hard to find around here. I've been looking for it for some time. I like space shooters. Especially Raiden and Gradius (Even though the only Gradius games I've played are the first one and the third one), I know Treasure made Gradius V, I'll have to check that out.

Oh, and sadly, not ALL Treasure games are good. *Points to Wario World*

I had it on Gamecube when it came out. I bought it for GCN for obvious reasons, hehe.
