Title: hardest MMX song to play on the piano
Post by: Lord Atmo on July 11, 2005, 07:35:46 pm
yes, you read that right, i DO play MMX BGM on my keyboard. quite well too. i recommend for those of you who have pianos/keyboards to try it too. some of them are harder to play though. for the love of me, i can't play Blaze Heatnix's BGM. it's just too fast.

Seeing as how the chord to my Kerboard has been severed, and the batteries I had in it have died, I can't do that anymore.

I could play a few songs that I had tuaght myself. But the main song I could play (From Megaman) would be Blue's Theme.

I never really tried many others, becuase my kerboard has long since passed away without batteries or a proper chord to use with it.

Maybe one day when it gets fixed, I'll try some more.

I'm about the most music illiterate person in the world. Check it out!

*pulls grand piano out of pocket and sets it down*

Umm... *looks at keys* .........  *starts hitting keys as an elephant would, leaving the piano a ruined mess*

See? No good.

i had absolutely no experience playing a piano when i started either. but i kept teaching myself and memorizing what keys to hit and what not. though it always takes me a few tries to begin the song. once in Band class, i was playing Boomer Kuwanger's stage on the piano. and someone actually said "hey, that's from Megaman X!".

another hard thing to play is the very beginning of Gravity Beetle's stage. it takes quick fingers. to say the least

Heh. User number one O O. Nice timing, Atmo.

And thanks for that song, herb. I appreciate your work on it, even if I haven't heard it yet. (please, do NOT send it to me in wav. Sophih sent me bitmaps, and they were bad enough. Waves? *modem shivers in fright*)

*bombards Swiftman's computer with WAVEs*

The only song I ever tried playing on a keyboard was Level 1-1 of Super Mario Bros. I'd say I was okay, for having never played piano before... Maybe I should pick my keyboard up again...

And before you say anything, the only reason I had it was because a relative had to unload some old crap. VERY old crap.

Heh. Cool, Atmo. I wish I could play stuff like that, even if it was crappy (unlike yours. Maybe try to make a recording and show us it?)

I can't play the piano. I took lessons once when I was 7, but never really got into it. I'm actually more interested in the guitar.

Lol, the hardest I think would be the 3rd X hunter stage in X2, that or in X6 when they sped it up   :D

Definitley.  If I had the patience, I could play the second with ease, but the first Sigma (X-Hunter) stage o.o, that's gotta be per-itty hard to play.  See, the thing with me and pianos is that it's impossible to play different things with both hands.  If I play one thing, my other hand HAS to do the same exact thing, I can't do two thins at the same time on piano.  I'm weird like that.  This is why I love FL Studio, it fufills my music needs, without having to learn an instrument.

It was my favorite song in the game. Oh and Superyoshi, I suffer from the same problem as you do. I can only do one thing at a time. Can't multitask... :(

i have played the first X-hunter stage before. however, i skipped the beginning sequence due to it being really fast. and i can't play the middle part of the third stage and i DEFFINATELY can't play the Gate Stage theme. but my brother can play the opening highway stage and BLAZE HEATNIX! i cant believe he can play that quickly. i can barely even play the sigma fight from X5. but neither of us can play the middle part of Infinity Mijinion. you know the part. with the really fast electric guitar... we've tried

i tried to play Toxic sea horse's back ground music on piano, i could play a little bit of it , got my bro to play some tabs of it on the Gueet and it sounded pretty good, but you gotta play it fast and keep up on it, can be frustrating some times

Me and Fortune are trying to nail Wheel Gator's theme on the piano. We allready got the notes in the climax down. I can't play it fast enough, though.

I'm trying to play some video game themes on the banjo.  That;s working out ok.
Blaze HEatnix totally sucks on the banjo, my fingers can get the first part and then I quickly lose pace.  Gravity Beetle is a bit easy, as the beginning is a quick 5-string roll and then it's pretty much smooth sailing.

I can see MMX8 - Dynasty being fun to play on the piano, and the boss fight from Rockman And Forte.
Anyone try MM7 Final Fight with Wily?  IT sounds like it could be tough pulling off.

Zero's intro stage from MMX5. I can play X's intro stage from MMX5. Everything else, no.
