No one needs to do a damn thing. When you make something for someone, you don't demand they use it. That's just rude. If I were them, I wouldn't use it, because there is no reason for you to act like this.

Well I demanded(and forced them to) that the kids at a local elementary school would use my asbestos sweater to keep warm!

Actually there is a story to this, I got bored one day and took a roadtrip to the north west of new york(being from the same state its not that hard) and tracked down cj. It was night so I snuck into his room and hit him in the head while screaming "COME OUT YAMI" until he suffered brain damage and yami became real.
