I came on and all of a sudden everyone has a different avatar... did I miss something?
-
Well you see....
I finally found a decent sized version of my Trigger Avatar and Sig (Avatar was like 30 kb, waaaaaaay over the limit, and with only half of a good Ava and Sig set? thatd make me look stupid :D))
So now I'm putting them to good use.
*waits to see what everyone else has to say about theirs*
-
I didn't change my avatar. I usually don't change it very often. I like this one so it's here to stay for a while!
-
I only just got here. Mine's probably going to stay like this, unless I find a good piece od fanart of Kary from FF1.
-
Mine's the same as you last saw it. It's the box art of my favorite dos game of all time, so it's gonna be around for a while.
And Trigger, if you want some down-sizing done, I can do that pretty good. (My Privateer box art used to be a 2.24 mb bitmap, and when shrunk in half 4 times, it was a 90 kb png, but I managed to make it a 19 kb jpeg. You're prolly good at down-sizing already, but I might be able to do something to the stuff you make to make it fit.
And Protoman, if the TPH server is as invinceable as you say it is, why can't we have at least 30 kb avatar limit? I think that would be good, even a little extra 10 kb. Actually, forget what I said. it's good, I think.
-
Or maybe at least a less strict limit on third party hosted avatars...
-
What's a third party host? Like, photobucket? I always jsut send the pic straight from my comp. (Hey, Lazlo! You should find a pic of... Oh, whatever the name of your avatar guy is. I forget his name. Is it even mentioned in starfox for SNES? Anyways, you should find the N64 version of him. You could follow the tradition of us changing our avatar's.)

His name's Falco, he's my favorite Starfox character too, heh.
-
FALCO! I KNEW it was something like that! I just forgot after not having played starfox 64 for so long... (ie: After my local McDonalds took out that game in favour of Picmen >_< )
-
McDonald's? Video Games? Care to explain? I'm a little...confused, heh.
-
My McDonalds does that too! Some of them, in the kiddy game room, have a few GCNs and N64s set up to play. I don't know if they work, as the only time I ever went into that particular McDonalds they were all shut down. Oh well, I got my Big Mac and Hamburglar kids meal toy, so I was happy
-
Yeah, My McDonalds was Sweet. They had 1080, mario cart, smash bros, starfox 64, al l he good multiplayer games. Then they were replaced with all the BAD GC games. *hangs head in shame*
-
I never remember McDonalds doing that! Grrr why do I miss everything!!
And BTW if you wan a good Faclo avatar.

This might do.

That one looks almost.... Scary. His SNES Falco looks way better, I think.

MY WHAT???
-
Wow. It was just an idea that I typed out loud. I didn't mean it really, but thanks! Now I can fit an avatar I've been wanting to use! (any guesses on it? It's about my third favorite game....)

Gunstar Heroes?
uhhh Sonic?
Uhhh Megaman?
Uhhh some other random game name?
MY WHAT???
YOUR SOMOFLANGE!!!!
-
You'll see when I get home, Trig.
Yay! My samoflange has been used! (dont forget what it meant.)
-
Yeah, that Falco thing looks just like he did in the game, however, I never liked the way he talked in that. Besides, "Wingwingwingdabbot!" was just awesome.
-
Falco said "Ja-ja-ja jammit" or something simaller. or maybe its just my bad hearing.
-
It was something like that... I heard "Wingwingwing dabbot!" But I think it was just a synthesized voice anyway.
-
I kind of liked the voiced in Starfox 64 better. The voices in Adventures and Assault are absolutley HORRIBLE! How hard is it to get the original actors from 64? Course I still have a place for the Super NES voices in my heart.
-
I played the SNES one when I was but a weee little lad. All I remember would be Cornarias KCIK ASS music, andF Falco always saying "ja ja ja jammit!!" XD
-
I agree with that, the Conerian music in the rest of the game sreally sucked. But that was awesome. I find myself humming it all the time.
-
I wish more people would remix it. it was one of the few great songs of any Star Fox game.
Do do doo dod do do do do doo do do do doo doo do
doo doo do dodo doo doo doo doo doo do do dodoooo
-
I also love the "Emergiancy, emergiancy. Incoming enemy fighters... Prepare for launch." at the begining of the game.
-
Yeah, Corneria is one of my favorite Starfox songs as well. In any video game for that matter.
-
I personally like Space armada, asteroids and fortuna better than Corneria.
-
Space Armada was a lot more fun to play, but the music to Corneria was the best in the game.
-
Venom (Stage 1 and 3) is one of the best songs in the game, too! (It's also the Corneria stage music in Super Smash Bros. Melee.)
-
I like how Andross talks on SNES Starfox. It sounds like he has a hernia in his mouth.
