Monday I leave for my trip to Florida for stuff and junk that some of you may or may not know about. Since I've done no preparing for this I'll be packing all day tomorrow, so see ya guys later!

I was looking over TPH's backlogs for some reason. Man, we sure did have some good times way back when, huh? Not that times aren't good now, things are just different. Too much drama, you know? It used to be all about the stupid innuendos. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there.

Cacklemier: (noun) cak-l-meyer 1. The last name of a guy I know. (serious!) 2. A new type of ship used in the Privateer universe; has heavy firepower and shields, but not much manueverability (in experimental stages; not completed)

Billy is different in that it is 2 to 8 times faster than Winamp. For example, in Billy performance tests opening 4000 tagged MP3s takes about 4 seconds to load up. In Winamp, which is considered fast, this same task takes over one minute. Billy also uses half the memory as Winamp, and has 28% less CPU load in its decoding engine. It is freeware, works on any version of Windows from 95 up and is small enough to fit onto a floppy disk.

It may look cheap and crappy, but does that really matter when all it does is sit in your systray and play music? Not to me. I've been using this for a while, and I like it. It's not skinnible, but that's its charm. It's just faster. I heartily reccomend it!

Swift really should be a mod. He's here all the time, he's been here since the forums started, and he's one of the most active people around. I seriously think he needs to be a mod, since he is, after all, trying to whip the site into shape and get rid of all that flabby, unsightly spam. So, I petition Protoman makes Swiftman a mod!

My favorite comic is having a celebration for it's 400th comic/fourth year/pirate day, and I can't think of anything to do for it! Now, I've won every contest this comic has had (all one of them) and I need to win this one to keep my spot as the #1 fan! But there are no guidlines! The "What I did on my shitty 3D summer vacation" contest was easy, but this... I just don't know... I don't know!

General / Theoretical Video Game Mechanics

I have many points I'd like to discuss on how certain aspects of video games work, and I'd seriously like to see if any video game thingers make sence. Anywah, first up is Star Fox' ARWING. Many people would claim that it's wings actually provide thrust, much like modern planes and jets do. But I ask you, would this really work?
We can first look at the Arwing from Assult.
This design is so impracticle I won't even discuss it. But what about the original Awring design from Star Fox?
Well, in this one, the wings seem set back a bit too far to actually proved lift without throwing the balance off, don't they? I imagine it would be rather difficult to keep that craft from flipping over, wouldn't you?
After this, we'll discuss other matters, such as Pyro-GX' prupoltion systems, Samus' power suit, the whole concept behind the G-Diffuser, and probably some other dorky things that come up.
