General Games / Recent decline of Megaman

I just got flash today. Maybe I'll make a game of it.

Don't expect to make anything remotley good until after a few months.  Believe me, I've had Flash over 2 years and I'm still learning new things every now and then.  Oh, and don't bother making a game now, as Actionscript is INSANELY hard [game-wise] when you first try it out.

Well, I got the CD from a friend who gave it to me, and he didn't have the original case, so all it had was the title of the CD, the tracks and their lengths.  But I recently checked The Mushroom Kingdom and found This Page that's got basically all the info that you can get, and it's a lot more info than I could've given you.  Oh, and the site mostly covers the Japanese version of the CD so a few of the track names might be a bit different.

Well, I don't have all of the MP3s anymore, but I finally remembered what site I got it from.  http://www.maverick-virus.com/Xtrememp3s.php .  For some reason, it looks like I don't have permission to access the MP3s.  I checked the site's news and it looks like Bandwith problems and the MP3s should be back shortly (Of course that update was in the end of March so it'll hopefully be soon)

Music / Remixed or different versions of Megaman Music

The Newgrounds audio portal is SO underrated.  There are some great remixes here.  But I've noticed that there are a few (very few, actually) stolen songs on there.

Just in case anyone is interested, I'm going to record all the bonus tracks from Anniversary Collection and upload them. But I don't have my equipment with me, so it'll be about a month before I can do it.

Yeah, I've always wanted to be able to download the remixes from AC.  Can't wait!

Actually, I have the entire soundtrack.  I dunno where I got it, but I didn't record it, I downloaded it from another site.

Not really, Black Mages was more about rock/techno remixes.  This is just a live orchestra from a concert in Japan, but in your definition, I guess it is, heh.

STARCRAFT!? I've been looking for those for about 4+ years! And now it's here on this uber-site!? NICE! I must congradulate you, Protoman!

Also, a question. Is Panzer Dragoon like, mechs and stuff? Cuz in some translations of the Front Missions games have them called panzers instead of wanzers, as is the proper translation.
Needless to say, is Panzer Dragoon an RPG or something with mechs in it?

Panzer Dragoon was an RPG for the Sega Saturn where basically you're riding on a flying dragon and shoot enemies, this might not be 100% right, I haven't played it in a LONG time.

About myTPH / Black Mages Problem
« on: April 13, 2005, 10:08:29 am »
I just noticed that the last track is missing from TPH.  It's basically a techno remix from the Seymore battle from FFX.  I've got the MP3 of that on my computer so if you'd like, I could be able to send you the song via AIM or E-mail, Protoman.  Or unless you just forgot to upload the track, heh.

I completley forgot I had this CD but seeing SSBM here, I figured I could share this beautiful CD here.  It's basically a live orchestra playing a lot of the songs from Super Smash Bros. Melee (and one big track with some of our favorite classic Nintendo game themes being played).  Anyways, I'll be converting these to MP3s today, so how would I get these up on the site?  Would I e-mail them to you, Protman, or use some sort of FTP program?

Music / UPDATE [2005.04.13]
« on: April 13, 2005, 08:44:26 am »
Wow, updates are so frequent now, I don't know what to do with myself!  Thanks a lot, Protoman and Neothe0ne!  Seeing 3D Blast on here just gives me so much nostalgia because I haven't played that game since 1997 or so, mostly because when Saturn had died I was forced to sell it to buy an N64.  Man, was I a stupid kid back then.  I really want another Saturn now seeing Panzer Drogoon and Sonic R are here, heh.

What did you mean when you said Megaman II has issues?

Well, the game DOES only take 15-20 minutes to beat with no effort whatsoever.  I can't believe I thought that game was hard when I got it years ago.

By the way, Protoman, THANK YOU SO MUCH for adding all the GB music finally!  And a very special thanks to neothe0ne for SSBM!  I only used to have a few tracks from the game.  Thanks so much!  That's got to be one of my favorite game soundtracks of all time, too.  Let's just say I'm a sucker for Orcheastrated game music and remixes. (and yes, I do have the Live album of SSBM XD)

yikes. i'll do my best, but i can't promise every track will be free of that blasted "whoosh" teleporting down sound effect.

Yeah, like Slashman.  It just HAD to have an intro.  A not very noticeable one, but it had one anyway, heh.
