Man, I love this site. This game just came out in Japan a few days ago. It won't be in the US until January, so here's a sneak peak at the soundtrack!

Anyways, now that I've listened to everything, I can safely say this soundtrack is GREAT. I was expecting something like X8 (Where almost all the songs where electric guitar, with no diversity), but I was happily proven wrong.
Here's my favorite remixes:
(Err....I can't exactly do this, as when I was typing them all out, I keep on putting almost all of them, heh)
Sadly, though, the credits songs are all gone. They must have been replaced by cutscenes.
-
Dayam. They made some of the songs even catchier.
-
Personally, I love how they made the Opening Stage music even cooler than before! It's always been one of my favorite MegaMan songs (along with the Classic MegaMan theme and the themes from MegaMan Battle Network).
Yeah, that's all well and good...but WHERE THE CRAP IS THE MMAC MUSIC?!

I cried listening to that .

Title: WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO TO THE TITLE SONG???!
Opening Stage: Decent. Already heard it in the trailer, but some of that distortion stuff wasn't necessary.
Vile's Stage: What, Vile has a song now? It's pretty good.
Vile 1: That synth sounds terrible...
Vile 2: Decent.
Zero: Great.
Maverick Outbreak: New. Nothing special.
Sigma's Deal: New. Nothing special.
Stage Select: What the hell.... well, the opening was a little strange, the guitar squeks aren't necessary, but overall I'd say it's better....
Stage Select Vile: Ah, so Vile is fully playable... it's great.
Stage Selected X: Great. And they went the way of X4...
Stage Selected Vile: Too heavy.
Chill Penguin: Some parts of this song are too weak. Choose a better synth next time, Capcom... but most of it's awesome, more so than the original.
Launch Octopus: Great, they went the way of all-out remix. And actually, I like this version more...
That's all for my impressions for now ;)

Hey everyone, be sure to check out Rockman Rockman (PSP remake of Mega Man 1) at the same site! :) It's only 6 tracks, but I think Capcom's onto something...

Yeah, that was one of the few gripes I had with the soundtrack. The only other song that I didn't think was so great were Sigma Stage 4. It's allright, just not the same as it used to be.

Yeah, I just checked it out. I was gonna post it. But hell, I've become a post whore when it comes to posting soundtracks, heh. It's ok, Cutman's stage sounds a little too happy-go-lucky though. I LOVE the Boss remix though.

Rockman Rockman is SUPPOSED to be happy-go-lucky ;)
-
I know, but hopefully the tone in all the stages hasn't been changed.
Funny thing is, I actually like the graphics, contrary to what most people think.
-
Eh, the heads are WAY to big.
Also, the sound effects sound Kirby-ish.
-
Ask me if I care.
Go ahead, I dare you.

Go ahead, I dare you.
And....you posted...why?
-
Because I was trying to prove a point last night. I hope people got the message that there's worse things out there and we can finally cut out all the crap.
That said, I'll watch it when I get the time, I have a buttload of packing to do.

1. What're you talking about?
2. If you DO care about this, then why did you even post your last post?
-
To Byte: Never mind.
(Double post, I know)
-
Actually, I've changed my mind on many of the songs. Spark Mandrill is now my favorite song from the soundtrack, followed by Storm Eagle.
-
much better than I thought it would be.
-
Not too bad at all. Might be worth it music-wise.
