I think you need Audacity. Go to download.com and get it. It's a pretty handy thing to have.

As usual, Jehuty is wrong. You play .ogg files in WINAMP (http://www.winamp.com), fool.

Hey, Atmo's back.... for a second.

And yes, .ogg can be played in Winamp. That and Billy. [Billy is much more lowend, but uses about... 1/60th of the RAM that Winamp does]

Failing that, use VLC.

>_< sucky, Atmo.

Try Billy, or, as Neo said, Foobar. [I suggest google, I foret the URL for both of them....]

Ogg vobortis is a file type used mostly by Linux (like how m4a is used by Mac and wma for windows). It has really good compression, but like Linux, it isn't well supported. Audacity is a music editing program that was made for Linux (though it can be downloaded on Windows and Mac) and therefore it is supported by Audacity.

foobar2000 0.9 is better ;).  Especially since its plugin support is shaping up VERY nicely, with foo_gep covering SPC, NSF, GBS, VGM, etc; foo_psf covering PSF; foo_dumb covering MOD, IT3, XM, etc; and support for Ogg Vorbis, Monkey's Audio, FLAC, etc... and an updated AudioScrobbler/Last.fm plugin which works.
