Here on TPH, we're almost always making stupid, nonsensical posts and topics. Also, the forum has seen only two posts in the last day. (all thanks to Bladegash for that.)

So, how about, we try a debate topic. it's going to be on a questionable subject, one that has very varying views on it, so I must ask, please, do not start flaming people because they don't agree with you.
The topic for debate shall be....

Homosexuality! What you think of it, what experiences you've had on it, etc. Post what you think about it here.

didn't understand it until i got a gay friend. now i do. anyone who says it's a choice doesn't understand what it is, but unfortunately, until we have scientific proof of what it is, there will still be people who claim to understand what's going on in someone else's head.

and even when we do get proof ... well, just click here.

One if my friends a boy who i will not name *coughJosH*cough*...well he dressed for a school dance in a shiny shirt and pink fish-neting let's just say we matched i asked him about being how he is, and he said he couldn't help how he was and he. He's liked guys sence 2d grade so it's (opinion)more DNA than enviroment.

I have too many thoughts on the matter to explain my reasoning for them all...but I will try.

I think homosexuality is fine. Becuase it doesn't concern me anyways. Check out this one guy I know.

In nature I have every right imaginable, and even those not yet thought up. Government is what stops those rights, in order to do its job. And Ican be whatever I want, becuase its nature that decides what I can be, not government.

I will explain justification.

You can do something, but without reason to do so, it will be wrong. Murder, under the right circumstances can be acceptable. Such as assasinating a Tyrant to set a country free, which would be an extreme case though. The action, is murder, the justification, is freedom of a country. Thats how I keep myself in line. If I don't have an acceptable reason, I'm not going to do it.

If someone has a reason, then I don't care if their gay or not. But if someone has a stupid reason like "Religion says its bad" then they can go screw a cow. Becuase religion doesn't mean shit.

Thats all I can remember at the moment.

Trigger that was deep(in a god way). I have seen a republican meeting over sumthing (i was forced to go) and they opened with a "Prayer" what happened it seperation of church and gorverment the "prezident" even quoted god in his campain people on TV said they wanted a "przident" that had religon (stupid people very stupid) when this "same sex marrage" thing came out it sounded good it would give them rights that they could'ov the "prezident" said it was in the "bible" that only a mad and woman could get married. DID you know that god doesn't want people to be happy?(sarchatstic) but that doesn't stop people getting married by the state insted of the church and state. Giving them the same rights. doesn't that sound fair. BUT then again gurch [(gov+ chruch)which is worng] might say that's bad's. FUCK THEM!

i think her post was pretty clearly anti organized religion, especially at a government level ("gurch") ... which would make it anti bush, pro individual choice.

Haha, we got off track one time in my math class and spent the whole block (Hour and a half) talking about this. So here goes.

As most of you [hopefully] know, I am not homosexual. You are what you are, you CANNOT change that. I think your life kind of is lead by what things you experience as a child. For example, my dad is into classic rock from the 70s-early 90s and he listened to that type of music all the time. So in turn, I am into the exact same type of music. Then again, everyone is unique. So how does one become "gay"? Well, that's a mystery. Nobody really knows. I have no problems with homosexuality. It's like being left-handed (which I am, but in an odd way, I use almost everything with my left except for the mouse, scissors, etc....but I'm getting sidetracked >.>) it's something you can't change.

I'd say more, but you get the main idea of it, heh.
