-P$3 costs at least $425
-Hard drive accessory REQUIRED to play P$3 games, no word on whether it will be included with the console
-All P$3 games will come on Blu-Ray discs to prevent piracy (prepare for skyrocketing costs--oh wait, go back to point one)

I did NOT see Sony coming out with this themselves, and so soon after they lied to us by saying "We will launch in spring". Maybe Sony is finally being humbled... who knows, if they humble themselves quicker they might overturn the third console curse

Who cares if a system fails? That doesn't mean it was a good or bad console at all. Look at Sega Saturn and Dreamcast. Great consoles they were, but they were failures. I see no point in wishing a system would fail, CJ, don't buy the thing and stop complaining, it isn't like Sony's forcing you to buy it.

Reminds me of people who whine about George Bush leading our soldiers to death when they do this of their own free will, they just look for someone to blame. But that's another story.

Oh, and Battletoads kicks ass.

My question is just what the price is going to be, and what PS3 is launching with. Revolution is just about 99.9999999923420345901% confirmed to launch with Zelda: Twilight Princess (GCN) and Super Smash Bros. Revolution. PS3 meanwhile has no confirmed launch titles, though most developers have pledged to target their games towards the November window....

And in the meantime, Sony has announced their mid-line Blu-Ray player will cost about $1,000.

My guess? Take that price, and add $200 for being able to play games and have Net access and stuff.
