that i DRESS GOTHIC
please i'd like to hear what you have to say about this
-
You already know what I say to this. I don't need to say it again.
-
I don't know what you've said to it. Can you please explain your response to me then?
Anyways, if your goth, whatever, your still YOU. SO it makes no difference about the rest of the little details. And your fun to talk to, so it makes no difference to me. =)
-
Well I am with Trigger on this! just might add: Black clothes, goth music, painting your face, reading creepy stuff... ok! But avoid the gothic depression part, it will get you down slowly. But then again, the choice is yours and I won´t treat you diferently being you gothic, rippie, clubber or whatever XD
-
painting my face depression O.o; i'm not a STEROTYPE
i just like black
-
Just so ppl understand what we talked: You just dress gothic, if you don´t follow the gothic culture, you are not gothic :) And well, black is cool, as well as any neutral color XD
-
Well, I wear a black shirt everday. And people used to think I was goth becuase of it. People truly are stupid now adays...
But anyways, if you dress up like a goth, so what? You also dressed as a catgirl before, and that's what matters. ;)
-
meow
-
just dont do drugs and be suicidal and hate society (or at least dont hate the forum)
-
Good advice, Herb. (I hate haters..... Seriously, they piss me off.)
-
HYPOCRITE ALERT!!! *shot*
Well...I'm racist towards racist people.
Anyways...not that I don't love getting offtopic, which I very so much do, if you dress goth, whatever. You can act anyways you want to. Though it wouldn't be very catgirl like to start hating people, and say your gonna kill yourself, or become depressed. ;)
-
you're not racist, trig. racist people aren't a race. they're just idiots.
-
Honestly? It doesn't matter to me. You can wear whatever you want. I don't see it, so why would I care? Some of the coolest people I've ever known dressed like that.
However, you may want to read this (http://www.insidebayarea.com/bayarealiving/ci_2785449). It's sad that things are that way, but c'est la vie.
-
Dressing like gargoyle statues would be pretty cool...
-
Dude, remember that old Disney cartoon Gargoyles? Wasn't that awesome?
-
THAT SHOW WAS AWESOME! I wonder if they made a season dvd of it... THAT'D BE SO COOL! I haven't seen that show in years!
-
Ugh, I hated that show, honestly. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the original movie (I haven'e seen it in around 10 years [lost it], but if I watched it now, I would probably remember every part), but I just never liked the series.
-
I hope you liked Transformer's, at the least. If you don't, I'll sic Ultramagnus on you.
-
Honestly, I never saw Transformers. It was on before I was born and never looked like they put it back on the air.
(By "Transformers" I mean the original series, not the crappy spin-offs and other series)
-
oh, but of course. The new shows don't deserve the name "Transformers". If they called it "Gobots v. 2", then yes, I would approve of them more. But no, not Transformers.
-
Heh, Gobots... that sounds funny for some reason. I only saw a few episodes of the original Transformers, so that's pretty much lost on me. I remember awesomeness and not much else. However, did you ever see the Transformers BeastMasters spinoff? That was pretty badass.
-
Good that all you remembered of Transformers was awesomeness, but I actually loathe beastmasters. The only good transformers in my eyes is giant, huge robots with frickin huge guns. THAT is a Transformer. (And gobots sucked horribly, they honestly did. I couldn't stand them.)
-
I don't know what Gobots are (I thought you made them up...)
-
I sure didn't make them up. Ugh. Think Transformers, only less violent, less cool, bad voice acting, horrible drawings, ugly transformations and everything is white with a couple other colors. It was bland, ugly, and horrid. It was obviously made for little kids, since virtually no violence was present. Transformers were INFINENTLY better than Gobots. (compare the theme song. "Gobots! *insert cheesy song* The Gobots!" compare that to: "TRANSFORMERS! More that meets the eye!" Ah, yeah.... *hums transformers theme to self*)
-
I liked Tranformers Beast Wars. Even had the old playstation game.
That's what I think to be the LAST good Transformers series. Used to watch it everyday before school man.
-
Aah, where I lived they only showed it on Saturdays, lucky you. When I think, if they had any good cartoons in the morning where I lived, I wouldn't be the type to stay up late. I'd always wake up early.
-
I remember how it was for me growing up...
After school: Gargoyles
Saturdays: Transformers, Talespin, Ducktales, and a couple others that're really good but I can't htink of right now...
My cartoon life as a kid was always really good. Soon as I get home, BAM! Gargoyles. Soon as I get up on Saturdays, BAM! Talespin was on. (That old show was great....)
-
Dude, I loved TaleSpin and Ducktales! In fact, a few years ago, they played Duck Tales after school and I watched it all the time. Man, those shows were great.
-
Talespin and Ducktales, now there's something we can all agree on. I loved those shows. But, Darkwing Duck was the best =D
-
"Let's get dangerous!" Damn, that show was great. Too bad it was only on cable when it came out, and I only had peasent vision. But still, I had the NES game atleast, and after a year it was on the local stations, and I loved that show.
-
YES! How could I forget that? "When there's trouble you call Dee-Dubbayew!"
-
*sighs* Gag, now I'm feeling nostalgic. So nostalgic it sickens me. I'm only freakin 16, and already I'm longing for the good days. Damn, I'm way too young for this. I need a catgirl.....
-
hey, sixteen isn't too young to be nostalgic. about when it started for me, and hasn't let up since.
oh, wait, i was supposed to say something encouraging. >_> sorry.
um ... tph rules?
-
Yeah, I've found myself doing that a few times... Then it's settled, I'll hook up my old harddisk and play some of my old game. Some of my Windows 3.1 old games.
-
Windows 3.1, Lazlo? Duuuuuuuddddddeeeeee. Those absolutely SUCKED compared to DOS games. (and I've had good experience with 3.1 games. Trust me. Microman was my favortie of them, but that one still sucked compared to Privateer and Descent.)
Really, for good ol' classic games, call on Swiftman. I know a GOOD amount of old games that are very good. (ones that are good good, not good for it's time)
-
Dude, I'm talkin' bout Castle of the Winds, that game owns all! And it's now on my computer ^_^
-
I've been nostalgic my whole life....wow, I'm weird XD.
-
We all are, Superyoshi. Heck, other than Protoman and Herb, name someone here who isn't wierd in SOME way.
-
Pretend that you know me.
Dressing goth and liking black don't sound like the same thing to me, and everything else everyone else said about being yourself and all that jive was well-put and lovely in conglomeration, so I won't add to it. I DO have to add, however, that dressing up like a cat is damn sexy. Period. I wish I knew why.
Also, if you don't like Beast Wars because you don't feel it's really Transformers, try looking at it as its own thing. I used to watch it before school as well, when I was young. I remember the episode Depth Charge died. Sad stuff. The Silverbolt/Black Arachne thing was great too, and... nevermind I'll quit. Black is great. Beast wars is great. Catwomen are great. Protoman is the best.
Love,
Tiger

That was the most randomest post ever, which is weird, because unlike the others it was on topic..
-
Only on TPH.... (or MMtL) Only those two places could a post be called random for being on topic.
-
haha now this is true
and I am weird too (feels left out for not being called weird), im just differently weird (like if we met in real life)
-
Herb, being non-wierd on TPH is what makes you different. If you aren't wierd, you're either shunned to the side or really cool, like Protoman. He isn't wierd, but his awesomeness and coolness speak for itself.
-
how am i not weird?! :P i fail to understand this.
-
yea me and Protoman are outraged
although i guess we really are more chill then weird
but sometimes i can go crazy (my "ghetto-ness" in that other topic)
-
Protoman, you're not wierd because you don't go *shanks*, DIEDIEDIE JUS DIE ZELLO!, "I'd pull out my handy dandy machete gun and play the rest by ear", "wwwwheeeeeeee!" or "Bleh."
-
Don't say that! Everyone says bleh.
-
Fine. I take out bleh.
-
I DEMAND THAT MY NAME BE CHANGED TO!!!..... FRAZZLE SNAZZLE!!!!!
-
No no, stay as Trigger, or Drifter! That way we know who you are, and to not take you seriously if you talk in caps.
-
::opens mouth to say something pertinent to the original subject, reads the above posts, checks pack to see how many fragmentation grenades are left (precious few), and decides against it::
So...
Castle of the Winds! I thought I was the only one on Earth still alive who has played that game. O.o You know, Falco was my favorite member of the Star Fox team (besides the man Fox himself... or the fox Fox himself, whatever). Kat was my favorite character not part of the Star Fox team. Did you ever meet Kat, Swift? You'd like her. I did. Thanks for the warm welcoe elsewhere, Frazzle Snazzle. Kary, what is your picture of? Some incarnation of Shiva (Kali maybe?) or what? Sophih, I was wondering what sort of places you'd recommend visiting in Kyoto. I understand it's a hub of traditional culture. </thought>
Zaijian,
Tiger
-
You still play Castle of the Winds? My gosh... although I'm ashamed to admit it, I never beat Surtur. I have to short an attention span. ;) You said a lot in one paragraph.
-
Yeah, I have a pretty disgusting tendency to make long posts. ::sigh:: This one's pretty short at least, estne?
Zaijian,
Tiger
-
It's not a bad thing.
-
Nothing wrong with a little content.
-
No, the only Starfox I played was the SNES one and the first couple levels of the 64 version. I haven't played Assault or Adventures yet, but I want to.
I KNOW I have Castle of the Winds laying around here somewhere.... I should plug in my old DOS computer, install CotW and play it. (I still have windows on my DOS comp. The auto EMS and XMS memory managing and easier sound card drivers makes it easier than having just a pure DOS comp.)
-
But do you have Castle of the Winds II: Lifthranser's Bane?
-
He sure doesn't. I'm sure it can be somewhere on the internet.
-
Yep, I'm sure he can. 745 kb for both games, not bad. (http://falconi.rom-source.com/castle.zip)
I doubt you'll find that disk, I lost mine aeons ago, and the last time I used it was an eternity before that.
