Allow me to enlighten you.  Sperm Whales are called such because they are named ofter an oil in there head called Spermaceti, which is only found in, you guessed it, Sperm Whales.  Othere whales species have something called Ambergris.  There is a slight difference between the two oils.  Ambergris was usually used for burning while Spermaceti was usually used for varnishes and other such products.
