I'm pondering whether or not I should get this game. Any one out there have any useful opinions regarding it?

I myself would rather get Tetris DS, though if I get the funds, I likely will purchase Megaman ZX

but thats a whole different story entirely.

Indeed. It's pretty much a free roaming Mega Man Zero game. Worth the $30, though.

I got this game and I would have to say that it is pretty good. The ability to use the seven forms makes it better without even mentioning all the other options put into it.

Never trust a critic. However, it does sound pretty good. Not too good, mind you.

One of the mainly annoying things about the game is you spend forever looking for an area instead of being warped there as per usual, making it really annoying to find bosses.
"Ok, I need to go to Section E, I guess I'll go to D and see if that leads me there." "Ok, now I'm in Section M, great"
Also, you can't keep the X armor until you beat the game, which sucks, considering there is NO difference between the ZX armor (The combined X and Z armor) and Zero in Mega Man Zero, and I'm sick of Zero.

I just recently purchased the game, and I think it's quite good, actually. it's worth a rent/borrow at any rate, but I wholeheartedly reccommend buying it.
True, it IS difficult to tell where you're going at times, but GameFAQs has a good .GIF image of a map you can use so you don't get lost. It's worked for me, at any rate.
My only wish is that the localization was handled better. the JPN version gets FULL voice-acting for EVERYTHING, and WE only get subtitled anime cutscenes (a la MMX6)!

Someone doesn't own the PSX version, eh?
Either way, I'm glad they got rid of the Japanese voices. It just gets annoying when EVERYTHING they say in the game is spoken, especially in a language you do not understand. The cutscnes I can deal with though, since they're cutscenes after all.

Yeah, zx sounds like a great game.
If played megaman zero 1 - 4 and those where great, the old school megaman x gameplay, great bosses, great story line near perfect.
But does anyone know if megaman zx will be released in europe?
Because lattely games like megaman dont release in europe and megaman is my favourite gerne.

MegamanZX is, without a doubt, a great game. But, yes the but, after the game is beatin, whats next?
I'll tell ya, nothin, but if ya wanna start over, it'll have ta be on a different file.
Not like the others where you could start over with everything you got last time.
I'd be all right with that, but there is only 3 files! Don't they usually have at least 5?
But i'm just telling you all what not to expect from ZX.
And just to put it out there, you can use the X form after you beat the game with Aile and Vent on any mode.
Also, you can also play as OX form which is the last, last boss in Zero 3, which is my favorite because of that.
But you have to defeat him first.
