Title: ROM's on Nintendo Wii?

I keep hearing about some kind of point system (like Chuck E. Cheese) to buy classic NES games for your Wii.

Does this mean we can put ROM's on the Wii?

Yes.  As well as SNES, N64, Genesis, TurboGrafx, and Commodore 64.

No offense, but the Virtual Console was pretty much one of the ABSOLUTE FIRST FEATURES (right after "lol, wee'r maeking a nuu konsoul") announced for Wii.

Back in 2005.

So you'd rather wait months, if not a year or two, if it EVER even happens, just to save $8 on a game you can buy on Wii that you probably already own on a Super Nintendo anyway?

Of corse i'll buy the game offline, but the hack would just make things easier. Not many classic titles are yet available on the site. Im pretty sure Nintendo will pass up a couple of titles too.

Like all my other dated systems, My SNES only works if I feel like watching a blue screen accompanied by a loud. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

i was thinking more along the lines of putting your entire rom collection on one dvd and playing them all on the wii.

I liked it when it was called Dreamcast.

Too bad playing SNES games on Dreamcast was glitchy as all hell.
