welcome back to tph!
turns out someone didn't like me showing yall the cartoons.
so we'll have to do without those from now on. (though i find it kind of funny ... i've been streaming them since 2003, and they've been available on dvd almost as long; you'd think they could have come for me a bit earlier!)
yes, i realize the rest of the site isn't back yet. it will be soon!

It still says I'm a guest, but I'm clearly logged on. I also checked the help section, and it looks like Profile is supposed to be next to Home, Help and Logout, and it's not there.

I always loved the simple, smart dark theme the old forum had (TPH always did look better in black anyway). The only theme I found on the website that looked somewhat similar was this one: http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?lemma=30

Haha, a lot darker than it looked in the preview image. It's like, PURE darkness. Oh yeah, is making a forum banner something you're going to do, or can we try to submit something of our own?

Well, I switched back to the default theme, and yeah, I guess it would go up where it says TPH Forum.

yeah i had to buy a new dedicated server just for tph and my own shit so i don't take out large parts of other sites i run (http://speeddemosarchive.com/) again if the copyright nazis try to rain on our parade once more. my guess is that my new host will be less likely to just terminate everything with extreme prejudice than dreamhost was though so we're probably safe.
i'll try to start sending the music up tomorrow but for a while the collection will be smaller due to me having to track down everything again. so i ask that you just be patient during that. thanks.

nah, with three other guys (http://speeddemosarchive.com/faq.html) (mike's and grenola's bios aren't up yet there though). i'm mostly responsible for capture/encoding/uploading.

EDIT: forgot to say, you should be able to log on without using a proxy soon. if you mean log on to the forum then just clear your cookies and restart browsers etc.

Heh, I KNEW you had to be Nate from SDA! I've verified a few things over there (Both Valkyrie Profile runs, and maybe another game), but can't seem to get into the verifier's site anymore. This was prior to the Dreamhost fiasco, so that's not the issue.
In any case, I'm glad to see that tPH is back.

I just wonder because it seems funny that it took them this long like you said, yet Gametap has recently started showing the Megaman cartoon (or at least the OAV that was also put out by ADV).
