I've decided to post some pics from games to give some riddle about seeing the resemblence. Like for example, this snapshot taken from Super Pac-Man:

You can see that Pac-Man is missing from the picture. He is somewhere in the maze. Let's see if you guys are smart enough to see where is Pac-Man hidden in the screen. :)

If you take a look at the maze, you'll notice that Pac-Man has already eaten the dots around him, but, what direction do you think Pac-man will go to? Up, right, or left? Let's see if you guys are smart enough to answer that riddle? :)

If you can't get the Descent one, dun worry, I made it to be especcially hard, even for long time veteran players. For someone who hasn't played Descent, it's nigh impossible.
Perhaps it would be better to skip mine.

The two large invaders at the top, and the UFOs at the bottom. There's nothing else glaring at me though.

Laz, I had already cleared the level. Sheesh, you make me sound like I don't know Descent.... *shot, knowing that that room had 2 Red Hulks and a Medium Hulk and on Ace, was kinda hard, but being an open room, still easy*
And on the Space Invaders one, there's an extra shield thing to the far right, and way too many enemies on the screen.

I spent about a few days in the gamefaqs message boards on just a missingno thread. But that was about 3 years ago..... I forget how to find him again. Hell, I forget the name of the town in the game.....

My guess is that littletriangle thing sticking out of the side on the left side there.
Unless it's the ship that's hiding by the score thing, I forget what the Asteroids ship looked like, exactly.

First you talk to the Weedle Guy in Veridian City, and have him show you how to catch pokemon, then you FLY to Fushia Town, and SURF to the Seafoam Islands, and just on the right side (where you're half on land and half on water) you'll find a bunch of level 100+ monsters and the lovely MISSINGNO.

Not too much thought needed, as it is a purely aesthetic change, but beware of the obvious answer.

Just two things are wrong?
1. It's the gravity suit at Spore Spawn
2. There's WAY too much equipment for that point of the game
3. um.... The floor is kinda gone?
4. There's those little things on the roof.
5. You have it on Auto sub tank. Manual fro t3h win. *shot*

Sorry but you've fallen into the trap, it is possible to have all that equipment and gravity suit at that point, those things ARE on teh roof against spore spawn, and you can have it on auto subtank at that point i believe, keep trying.

Oh right, I guess I've been away from the Gamefaqs message boards for Super Metroid for too long.
But hey, I'm beat. I haven't played Super Metroid in so long, so the nearest thing I can say is the little floaties of Spore Spawn are blue and not green?

nope, those aint floaties, just part of the background. If it helps, it's something on the HUD as it were, nothing is wrong in the playing screen.

After much inspection............
I'm done.
I can't find it...... You can easily have used up all those missiles, you may have had 35 super missiles to begin with, and only those 5 power bombs...... The grapple beam and X-ray scanner are in the right places.....

The blue one is a fake one., and the red ball isn't her, that's the morph ball item itself. Find the REAL one hidden in the screen. C'mon, you can do it! ;)

I havent' a clue what that thing is, the resizing doesn't help... i thought on first inspection a bottle but looking closer it looks vaguely like the helmet of master chief, but that sounds like it's wrong... certainly has no place in the pac man world or so i thought.

Yeah, it doesn't. :) You'll have to zoom in the thing in the picture. If not, look REEEEEEAAAAAAALLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYY closely! :shock: :P It might resemble something. I'll give you a hint: It comes from another universe. :shock:

In the image, you can see the health depletes towards theright, wheras in reality, it depletes towards the left, so your last energy tank would ge on the far left, not the far right.

It HAs been far too long since I played Super Metroid..... It's not that obvious though, when my health is going down, I'm usually scrapping for my life and can only afford a glance......
But that's me, anyways. I beat that game too quickly to really notice too much. [second play through, under 3 hours, 74%. Haven't played it since.]

The automap is being shown during the Spore Spawn fight. That should be the error, and Samus is using Super Missiles against it, which is a waste, since SS is strong vs. them, oddly enough.

Something doesn't look right with Samus. :? To solve this, you have to look VERY closely and if you want, you can compare the original sprite of Samus with this one. Think you can find out? :) Hehehe good luck! ;)

That picture is definetly not right. Not a very good puzzle, but I went through my NES roms, couldn't think of anything, and since no one gets my DOS quizzes, I just added that. *sighs* My brain is moot now... I come up with something later, I'll put it up.

The thing that's wrong with that picture is that the plane is still there. Pyro-GX would have taken it out before any pictures could have been taken.

There's 2 spine things intead of 1, and something about the red one maybe. That's about all I can tell.

The shot is going too far yes, you'd need missiles at that point otherwise you couldn't have gotten longbeam. Also there is only ever one zoomer on those platforms. Not sure what you mean about the red flying thing and i can assure you there is nothing wrong with the red zoomer.

Oh! Do you mean the red rippers? if so then no, that's not one of the problems, but a good idea, nonetheless.

You can have long beam without having missiles.

How so? unless you mean using the password system. As far as i know, it isn't possible to access the long beam room as the door needs five missiles, therefore logically you need missiles to collect it.

For Megakevin's she's trapped inside the door, as sometimes happens through glitching, and is the entrance to the secret worlds.

yeah, somtimes on the original nes version you got stuck inside a door, then you have to jump repeatedly to get to the space above the door, and those are secret worlds, you can probably find more information in other places, i've never made it to one, though i did access a secret world in metroid prime, unfortunately that';s the only one i've been to.

Actually, Dragon Warrior has always been Dragon Quest, they just changed the name in the US because there was some D&D game named Dragon Quest

Sonic was released in America FIRST, not Japan, even though it was made by the Japanese. And this just in. It says Pennsylavnia on my location. I don't fucking live in Japan. And honestly, when was the last time "Dr. Robotnik" was mentioned in a game? I'd say Sonic Adventure (And the SA2 Battle manual, but that wasn't in-game) was the last. It's all bullshit, his name is "Dr. Eggman" now, and Sega has dissapointed me because of it.
If you want to take this matter further, I will GLADLY argue about this over AIM.
And I admit I was wrong about the Slash Man thing. Retro told me Slash Man's name was changed to Beast Man in the Battle Network series.

I mean, I watched my old VHS of the origin episodes of Gargoyles, and wow... I was astounded at how well written it was! And the voice acting... AH!

For one thing, I can tell that's definitley not the Metal Gear on NES. There's way too much detail on the background and Snake's sprite for it to be on NES. I'm not sure, but I think that's the MSX version, which almost no one has played due to it never being released in North America. So I doubt most people would be able to solve this one.
Oh, and while searching for a picture of the MSX version, I found the same picture. You put one of the floor tiles on the top left of the screen and got rid of the shadows on the right-most box and right wall.
