Is that an attack??? It looks like a healing spell with the PINK heart 
Though if it gives charm status, that explains XD
Anyways cool animation XD At leasi in DQ 8 characters dont look so ugly then (in 7 they were the most ugly things ive seen on a game)

I have seen some cartoons when I was little, but didnt appeal to me, in fact no cartoon appealed to me til Transformers After that came Silverhawks, Mask and others...
But I see your feeling for oldies, one of my most old devotions is unkwon to most ppl: Voltes V the first anime I came to like
5 young ppl piloting giant vehicles whi combined into a giant robot YAYNESS!! It was a pain to find the opening theme in mp3 And the only game in which it appears is Super Robot Wars Alpha for Playstation and Zhi is translating that!!! (obviously from all my units in SRW Alpha the one I spend mosty of my money in upgrades is Voltes V, even when there are Gundams there to upgrade )

I surely like Simpsoms they way they are, but for most of others, I would prefer then redisigned, specially rugrats, dunno why but those rdistorted line arts makes me feel bad, so I avoid it O.OAlso some of the coartoons Ive mentioned had a cool design like Silver Hawns, but I can picture then in my head being yet better
Also to note: anime has got quite a lot of diversity, just pick things from diferent authors
There are FAR more differences between Gundam Wing and Pokemon character design than between Batman and X-Men Dunno if you see my point, but depending on which things you compare, the results are different for both anime and cartoon
But there is one thing one cant denny and this fanart shows it perfectly: When it comes to machines, anime owns everything! Just notice that any mecha series that comes from the occident (not just USA) is based off, ripped off or adapted from japanese stuff or yet had japanese guys in the team
(Loot at battletech and Transformers).And lastly, ocidental guys are going towards japanese style, even Marvel is messing with manga
Yet I think that there will always remain the cartoon stuff because of different stetic senses and viewpoints =^.^=

Now... this fanart kicks serious ass... it tempts me into colouring O.o I should do this with old things I used to like in cartoon, but drawing then in manga style (so they look better as seen in that fanart >D ) like Bionic 6, Mask, Silver Hawks... XD

Since I am slow as a slug riding a turtle, I like games that have simple commands, not many buttos letting me concentrate in my strategy (no matter what kind of game I play, my mind is that of an RPG player >D) So I like controversal games to which no one dares playing much u.u
-Destrega - Great system, similar to the one in Xenogears Arena battle, but medieval
-Eretzvaju/Evil Zone - Great game with nice storyline
-Psychic Force 1 and 2012
-Rival Schools >D
-Jojo`s Bizarre Adventure XD
-Pocket Fighter
-Soul Edge

Well those things are plainly the truth honey, in fact I didnt talk about how bad politics are here and not either about public hospitals (glad I got medical coverage from my job ) and the schools, which are more like a drug dealers nest... while in US a boy going to school with a gun appears in all newspapers, here its quite commom...
But nah had a crappy day really, just hope tomorow is better u.u
