About myTPH / cut off x2 song?
« on: March 07, 2005, 12:31:04 pm »
The overdrive ostrich song on the site is shortened. It doesn't finish the last loop around.
Fixable if you decide to go back and rerecord those songs. I'm learning flash, and I'd like that song.

Thanks in advance.

Music / shorter x5&x6 songs
« on: March 02, 2005, 09:33:51 pm »
I was wondering. How come the mm x5 and x6 songs so long? You've looped them about a dozen times each song. I like longer songs, but it's not very dial-up friendly when I listen to them. Takes me an hour and a half.
Is there a possibility to have shorter versions? The average length of the x4 songs were a perfect length.

Thanks in advance.

Music / Spark man tunes and other
« on: February 14, 2005, 01:05:51 pm »
In the megaman anniversary collection, is there a sparkman song that was updated to sound like the power fighters? If there is, it's not on the site.
Also, is there any other sparkman remixes out on the web, authentic or fan-made? I love the sparkman tune. I'd like ANY other versions of it, besides midi's.

Plus, on something other than Sparkman, is it possible at any point in time (say, a few years up the road) to get Castlevania, symphony of the night songs going? That game had the most excellent musical score of anything (better than any megaman, I'm ashamed to say.) and it covers so many different genres of music that it should satisfy anyone.

Thanks in advance.

About myTPH / sprite avatar question
« on: February 09, 2005, 08:16:05 pm »
I think Herb or Gemini man can answer this one.
Your avatar, unlike mine, has a transparent layer behind the picture, so it doesn't have a white border around it. How'd you guys do that? Mine has a big white background on it, and I don't know how to turn it off.
(Note: I don't have a bitmap program more powerful than ms paint. If paint can't make transparent backgrounds, then never mind.)

Thanks in advance.

Music / megaman 5 GB music
« on: February 07, 2005, 11:31:45 pm »
Is it at all plausible to have a megaman 5 GB section at all soon? I know you're massively busy (most likely. You probably have what the outsiders call 'lives'.) But I'd especially like it if you did, and many others would too. The final boss song is brilliant! Takes full advantage of the gameboys limited music processor.

General Music / Alternate PC game music

I'd like for some of you to try this out.
Download some wacky, comepletely out of place music, say teenage mutant ninja turtle for SNES, and turn the music off in, say, starcraft or dune 2000,  and play those songs in the background instead. Let me tell you, it is QUITE... what's the word I'm looking for.... Wacky, I guess is the closet I can come to.

Seriously! Give it a gander!

General Games / Faorite non-megaman game
« on: February 04, 2005, 01:34:18 pm »
What game out there, other than Megaman, is your favorite series or favorite single game out there?

I personally really like the r-type games by Irem. R-type 3 for the SNES was genius.

Comix / Comic viewing
« on: February 04, 2005, 01:32:25 pm »
Is there a way to read Overwing's comic through a scrolling window instead of scaling it all down? It's kinda annoying to read it that way.

Thanks in advance.

Cartoons / dial-up cartoon loading
« on: February 03, 2005, 12:32:23 pm »
Here on tph, how long would it take to load the megaman cartoon with 56k dial-up? I want to see the cartoons, and I don't have access to high-speed. Any guesses?
