Updated the link in this thread to the new board.  Swifto knows the deal, ask him.
I wasn't even aware people here besides me and Yamino still kept in touch.

Also year-old necropost lol

I still come here all the time, due to blindly clicking the tab to the forum.

Old habits die hard.

Music / Re: X3 Ending
« on: October 13, 2007, 12:11:30 pm »
This is actually kind of interesting.  The ending song was arranged fully and it's on the X3 disk in redbook audio  (Which...well, used to be on TPH), but it wasn't put in the game for some reason.  Instead, we get a cutscene with either a J-pop song in the Japanese version, or the song that you hear now which was on the PAL version.

As far as I know, the song is not on X Collection at all.

Personally, I kind of like the English X3 PSX ending.

Oh man, they're "totally" dissapointed.

So am I.

Shit.  Well, I mean I'm pretty sure most of us already have every Mega Man soundtrack there was on this site, but still.  Protman.com without Mega Man soundtracks is kind of like Galbadia Hotel without the Final Fantasy soundtracksOH WAIT.

Huh, that's weird.  Besides from the missing Japanese voices I don't remember anything else being changed.  Maybe I'll look into it tomorrow.

Yeah, he ruined the beautiful music for Dragonball Z is what he did.  Although his songs are OK, they can't replace the originals at all.
"Ruined" is a huge overstatement.  Listening to his stuff now, there's a lot of good, very memorable tracks he's composed for the series.  I can't say the same for pretty much every anime dub with changed music.

Yes, I know I'm arguing with my 15 year old self.  Shut up.
