Music / cease and desisted
« on: October 10, 2007, 02:09:18 pm »
after 9 years of hosting mega man music on tph i've been cease and desisted by capcom of japan. so you'll get a nice copy of the word doc i got instead of the music if you try to go to those albums they so kindly demanded i take down.

however i hear there are better ways of getting things these days.

About myTPH / i regret to inform you that tph is not quite dead yet
« on: April 10, 2007, 02:17:00 am »
welcome back to tph!

turns out someone didn't like me showing yall the cartoons.

so we'll have to do without those from now on. (though i find it kind of funny ... i've been streaming them since 2003, and they've been available on dvd almost as long; you'd think they could have come for me a bit earlier!)

yes, i realize the rest of the site isn't back yet. it will be soon!

enjoy the new forum! simple machines ftw!

About myTPH / Happy 10th birthday, TPH!
« on: August 02, 2006, 02:16:07 am »
TPH turns ten years old today, and I assure you that my disbelief tops all of yours.

To celebrate, I've done some minor redesign work on the site as a whole, fully dragging it out of the abominable "myTPH Window" design.

Further, I added a Flash MP3 player to the Music section. To access it, just go into one of the many albums that consist of MP3 files and click on the "Listen now" link at the top of the track listing.

Here's to another ten years!

Music / UPDATE [2006.01.07]
« on: January 07, 2006, 09:46:17 pm »
what's good for you is still good for me

Not much to this update but to inform everyone (in case you haven't been reloading http://www.protoman.com/Music/Music/ every two seconds) that TPH's music has been moved to my new host, meaning that the cursed rotating groups of doom have been abolished once and for all!

Rejoice! And watch your back ...

i also killed the window once and for all!

Music / UPDATE [2005.08.13]
« on: August 13, 2005, 08:18:54 pm »
one out of nine

Direct downloads are back!!

You heard that right ... you've got a one in nine chance of getting what you want right now, no holds barred. Of course, you might not even know what you want yet, considering I've also added all of the music faithful TPH co-conspirator neothe0ne has been ripping over the past few months!

I also decided to cut all the nonunique content, which means that things that are sold on CD in Japan (e.g. the Rockman Zero Remixed tracks) are no longer available here on TPH. Sorry, but I thought that all that bandwidth would be better used transferring things we've ripped ourselves than things you can just go into a store (online, if necessary) and buy.

As always I'm very open to any and all feedback about the new system. Let me know what you think!

Music / Music is now only available via BitTorrent
« on: June 30, 2005, 08:46:20 pm »
sorry, everyone ... it was inevitable the way traffic's been skyrocketing these last two weeks. tph has just gotten too popular for its own good. why don't you grab a client and pitch in!

(this also means that all of neothe0ne's finished work should be posted soon. not that it's better in a .torrent than it is direct download from his directory ...)
