That's like asking why Square isn't porting Chrono Trigger to GBA when they're doing FF II (IV) and III (VI) nowadays.

What? Super Metroid and Metroid Prime are nothing alike. They don't even take place on the same planet.

Super Metroid was all about saving the last metroid from the Space Pirates. Metroid Prime was all about Phazon.

really, I never really liked much of Metroid, cept Super Metroid...but then again, I've only played Super Metroid and Metroid Prime xD

Of course you should hate Metroid Prime Hunters....it's not a good game at all from what I've seen in the demo.
