heh. was wondering how long it would be before someone commented.

the truth is, i never intended to put ads on tph again (last time was 1998), but it has gotten 2x more popular over the last week, and it doesn't show any signs of slowing down. tph shares a server with at least three other sites, and those sites have to have bandwidth, too, so i figured that with the ads, i could afford to maybe keep things exactly as they are without limiting things.

also planning on putting an amazon affiliate link in the cartoons section so people can buy the cartoons on dvd from amazon and have part of what they pay go to me.

sorry, everyone, just ignore the ads.

oh, well, i never noticed, you know? ;)

most of us have obtained copies of norton internet security 2005 or a similar software suite that blocks popups and ads.  i never noticed... :)

I'm using Mozilla Firefox's AdBlock myself, which basically just lets you zap any and every type of ad away.
