Earthworm Jim wasn't really around for my childhood... I saw him in action once on Genesis, but that was it... Never really played him untill EJ2 came out on GBA.
Soon to be a major motion picture!

LAZLO! Don't play the GBA Earthworm Jim games! The Genesis ones were WWWAAAAAAYY better! So much frame rate and sprites that you couldn't believe it..... SSSSOOOOo awesome and fluid of motion.... *drools slightly*

And I've only played the Genesis Earthworm Jim's, so I don't know how the SNES ones fare... Prolly not too far behind, if at all.

I haven't played much of the GBA games. I was about to buy the SNES version today, but then decided to go with ActRaiser instead.

I'll aggree with you on that one, even though I own the Genesis version of EWJ.  But....

Genesis > SNES as far as Battletoads/Double Dragon is concerned.
