As the core explodes Sigma says "I don't under stand. Why did Zero... Last of Doctor's creations. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrr" Mega Man then stops thinking about his encounter with Sigma at the north poll. (Mega Man X2) Suddenly Zero comes into the room dragging Vile behind him. X gets up and asks what happened. Zero says he got caught in a fight with Vile and won the fight. Zero says he deactivated him. X thinks that maybe this could lead to getting some answers. Hours later Vile is chained up and being drained of all he knows. The info Dr. Cain gets is scrambled in code. Dr. Cain is able to uncode some of it. He shows it to X. It contains files of robots called Snake Man, Guts Man, Ice Man, and Proto Man. X looks under Proto Man's file. The file turns out to be a last log entry in a journal. It says "June 7, 20XX I am making my last entry in my journal. I will also be putting this entry in my robot under the name Proto Man to keep it hidden. I am about to die. My robot Bass brought me to a hidden place to live out my years. I've gotten to old. I now know that my dream of killing that little blue bomber is only a dream, but I have built a robot in unmatched strength. He will gain the trust of Mega Man in time and then betray him when the time is right. The robot will not be aware of this but it will know all of this when the robot fells it is time. I am soon to die so good bye world, a world I should have ruled..." After reading all this Mega Man X is suddenly downloaded a ton of info on his past life as the blue bomber, as Mega Man. Dr. Cain asks X what he learned. X says he knows all that happened to him. He says a accident happened that made Dr. Light put Mega Man in a capsule to heal him. Time passed and many died over time. Zero then walks into the room and hears this. Suddenly Zero's eyes turn red. He says "Scrambler code 3346y7696544.>.,,.mmfffgzfzxcdd- Wilyrevenge program activate." Zero says to X "My mission is to destroy you in the name of Dr. Wily." Dr. Cain trys to stop Zero from attacking X but is unsuccessful. Zero then stops and says he has a better way for him to die. Zero teleports away to another part of the base. Zero teleports to Vile's chamber. Zero destroys the chains on Vile and gets him up. Vile says "So discharge you finally came to." Zero says "I'm no longer Zero or Discharge. I'm now the new Zero. Come with me Bass and destroy X." Vile gets up and says "I'm no longer Bass, I am forever Vile!" The two the teleport away.

Vile and Zero teleport near Mega Man X and Dr. Cain. The two rush down the hall ways. As they do Vile looks at Zero and still sees his killer (Mega Man X and X3) Vile shakes away these thoughts by remembering that Zero was once his former comrade "Discharge" Discharge was the last of Doctor Wily's creations. Vile then remembers back to the day it all changed. The year is 20XX. Mega Man teleports to Wily's castle to stop him from a plot. Dr. Light picked up large amounts of energy coming from Wily's castle. Dr. Light sent Mega Man and Rush to check it out. As Mega Man lands to stop Wily Proto Man teleports to the castle to help Mega Man. Mega Man asks Proto Man why he is here. Proto Man says "Same as you. I picked up the large energy field here and came to stop it. Now lets stop talking and start working on a way to get in." In side Wily laughs as he finishes putting energy into a new Proto type robot called Discharge. As the energy transfer stops Wily falls to the ground coughing. Bass (Who was watching.) goes over to Wily and gets him back on his feet. Bass says "Your not well Doctor. If you continue you may cut your life ever shorter." Wily gets up and says in response "I'm fine! Why should you care if I live or die. I didn't program you to care. Any way once this robot is done I will be able to rest knowing I gave it my all. All I need to do now is load it with this disk. It will make him gain the trust of Mega for years then betray him when the time is right. If he can't find Mega Man then he will upload with a new memory and will lead a new life until Mega Man is found and the time is right." Suddenly Mega Man, Proto Man, and Rush blast in. Mega Man says that what ever he is up to it's over. Wily orders Bass to hold them off until he can activate Discharge. Mega Man gets hit by two of Bass' shots and then returns fire at a full X-Blast. Bass' arm gets hit off. Discharge then comes on line. Wily order Discharge to attack the enemy. Discharge lets losses 3 MegaX-Blasts. Proto Man blocks on shot with his shield. Proto Man's shield shatters from the blast. Mega Man gets hit by the 2 other blasts and he gets a huge hole in his lower left side and half of his head. Mega Man falls to the ground with no life in him at all. Proto Man screams out "Murder!" Proto Man shoves Bass out of the way and gets to Discharge. Proto Man punches Discharge 2 times and then brings out his blaster and fires a direct hit on Discharge. Discharge is unharmed. Discharge the waves his hand out and whacks Proto Man. Proto Man flies over to his brother and lands on the floor next to him. Rush stands guard over his master as Wily approaches them. Rush can do nothing to Wily since robots are not to kill humans and one bite from Rush would surely kill Wily. Wily steps over Mega Man and Proto Man and says he has finally won. Suddenly Proto Man gets up and uppercuts Wily in the jaw. Proto Man knew he could over ride his basic codes. (Never kill a human.) Wily falls to the ground. Proto Man picks up his brother and he, his brother, and Rush teleport away. Bass and Discharge walk over to Wily. Discharge picks up his master and asks Bass were to go. Bass says he was told of the place Wily wanted to die. Bass, Wily, and Discharge go to a hidden lab in Texas. Bass is able to repair him self and get Wily back into the living with advanced technology in medicine. Bass estimate that Wily will Die with in the next few days. Wily makes his last journal entry and puts in into Bass under the name "Proto Man" Wily tells Bass and Discharge to leave him to die. They leave and the next day Dr. Wily dies. When Wily let Discharge leave he uploaded his new memory and took the name Zero. He later on became the leader of the Maverick Hunters. Bass changes his name to Vile and goes under the leader ship of Sigma. Zero and Vile both changed in powers and looks as time and technology went on. As Mega Man, he was put in a capsule to heal. This would take over a 30 year period of time. Dr. Light would have passed on by then. Proto Man takes Rush and leaves and is never seen again. Roll is destroyed in a car charsh 5 years later. Dr. Light died 15 years later of old age. 30 years later in the year 30XX Mega Man X is found healed and improved by Dr. Cain and this started a new era and 3 new wars between Mavericks and Maverick hunters. Vile then stops thinking of the past and continues down the hall ways.

Zero blasts away with 2 maintnece bots as he and Vile turned a corner thinking it was Mega Man X. The 2 continue down the hall. In a hidden vault Dr. Cain prepares Mega Man X for the worst. 2 other Maverick hunters are down there with them. X stand on a plat form and a yellow beam comes down on him. As the beam fades away Mega Man X is shown to have his 3ed type of armor he got. (Mega Man X3) The 2 other bots that are with X are Basher and Dasher. Dasher has incredible speed while Basher has a large metal plate on his head that make him able to use his head as a battery ram. The 3 exit the vault to find Zero. Dr. Cain stays behind in the vault to keep safe. The 3 get up to ground level and they run into Zero and Bass. Mega Man X says to Zero "What have done!? You let Vile losses." Zero says that the old Zero is gone and only this one remains. Zero's eyes then flash blood cold red and Zero the points his arm cannon at the 3 and fires. Mega Man takes the hit while Basher speeds over to Zero and rams his head into him. Zero falls on the floor. Zero is about to get up when Basher rams his head on the floor making the ground Zero is on to crumble. Vile then grabs Basher by the throat saying he must have a death wish! Mega Man then lets out a blast at Vile's arm. Vile drops Basher. His arm is injured. Vile then fires 3 elec. blasts at X and Dasher. Basher dodges on blast and gets hit by another. Mega Man jumps out of the way of the 3ed blast and charges over to Vile. X grabs Vile by the chest with one arm and blasts a hole in the wall with the other. As the wall crumbles Vile sees that they are up high. Vile wonders how they got so high when being on ground level. Mega Man then tosses Vile out of the building and he falls to his doom. Luckily Zero opened a window blow him and looked out to catch him. Zero catches Vile and brings him inside. Vile asks Zero how they got up so high. Zero says the doctor must have activated the base's new device to make it grow. (Mostly used to attack flying war ships.) Zero says they have to run because he landed in the bottom room were bombs are held. Zero says he put bombs all over the base. Zero then says they have to teleport out because the bombs are about to blow! The Maverick Hunter Base then blows up in a horrible blase. Out in the distance a robot watches the base explode. A dog sits next to him. The robot and the dog then teleport away.

The building, that was once called Maverick Hunter HQ is gone. Luckily Mega Man X and his 2 comrades live. Dr. Cain lived because he was in a vault. The 4 of them find each other in the ruble. Dr. Cain says they should go to the back up HQ. Mega says he never knew there was one. Dr. Cain says he and Zero were the only ones that knew of it. Mega Man says that means Zero and Vile will try and destroy it since this building is trashed. Basher suggests they get there as soon as possible to stop them. Basher says that he and Mega Man will teleport there while Dasher carrys Dr. Cain on his back and speeds his way there. Little do the 4 suspects that Zero and Vile have no interest in the new base. Zero is heading for a place he forgot when he became Zero. Dr. Wily left behind 2 stelf dimensional power suits. Zero now knows were it is hidden. Zero and Vile head for Brazil. When Mega and the others get there they find that the place hasn't been attacked. The 4 enter and go in. As they walk in Mega Man starts being downloaded with more info on the past. Mega Man has just found out about the power suits left by Dr. Wily. Mega Man teleports to Brazil with out warning and not telling the 3 others were he was going. Basher goes over to a computer in the base to track were Mega Man X was going. Mega Man X teleports to a cavern in the ground. The cavern was blasted open. Mega Man jumps in it thinking Zero and Vile blasted it open. Deep with in the cavern Zero and Vile find the suits. Zero picks one up and puts it on. Vile asks how it fells. Zero says he has never felt so much power at once. Suddenly a robot dog comes from out of the shadows. A robot follows him. Zero and Vile ask who he is. The robot says "Why you two should know. I'm Proto Man, Proto Man X. The dog is named rush, you've met him too. I may look different from years ago but you should see the resemblance." Vile says he does see Proto Man in the robot's look. Proto Man X says he and the dog have traveled around the world waiting for Mega Man X's awakening. He says he only found out about a month ago that he was activated. "I can't let you take those suit." Proto Man X says. "Over our dead bodys!" Vile says. Proto Man X says "Then so be it!" Proto Man lets out 5 energy discharges similar to Zero's. Rush also reveals missiles on his back and fires them. The blasting makes a cave in occur and Mega Man X fells it as he went down the cavern. X decides to get out so he doesn't get crushed. X gets out of the cavern just as it totally caved in. Mega Man stands there thinking at least Zero and Vile can't get to the suits. Suddenly Proto Man X and Rush teleport next to X. X is shocked and surprised by this. Proto Man says "I have no time for explanations! Here I got one of the suits just before the place caved in. Do you remember me and the dog?" Mega Man X says he does from the resent download of info he got. Proto says the downloads will happen slowly as time moves on. X was designed to forget all of the past when he was put in the capsule but it now is coming back now that he found out about some of the past. Mega Man X asks if Zero and Vile got out. Proto Man X says he hopes they didn't. Proto Man X gives Rush back to Mega Man X. He then teleports away. Mega Man and Rush teleport back to the new base. Once they left Zero blasts out of the ground flying. The suit has flying capability. Zero holds Vile on his back. Vile got lots of damage but Zero did not since he had the suit on. Zero and Vile then teleport away.

Mega Man X is back at the base and is introducing his dog Rush. Dasher does not like dogs at all so he advoids Rush. Mega Man X wonders if Roll is still alive. Mean while Zero and Vile stop at an old destroyed town were Zero repairs Vile's injures. Zero sees that the damage is very extensive, but he thinks he can repair him. Zero has to get new parts for him so he gets them and gets back to work on Vile. In 3 days Vile is repaired. Vile says to Zero that he had a lot of time to think while he was being worked on and he has a plan to get Mega Man X. While Mega Man trys out the new power suit he, Dr. Cain gets a transmission. Zero is contacting them. Zero says they have Roll and she is being held captive. If X does not come to the following location alone then she will die. X hears this and stops practicing. Mega Man X says he has to save Roll. Dr. Cain warns Mega Man X that Zero may not be telling the truth about this. X agrees with this, he has not been downloaded with an image of her yet. X still says he is going. X puts on the power suit and teleports to find Roll. X teleports to the old town were Vile and Zero hold a young robotic woman with them. Mega Man X screams out "Let her go!" Vile says in replie "Not on your life! Die Mega Man X! Die!!!" Mini battle robots then pop up out of the ground and start to attack X. X destroys one of them but gets hit 3 times by another. Suddenly a whistle is heard. This sound is so high pitched that it destroys weak enemies. The robots are eliminated and are dust. Suddenly Proto Man X teleports down in front of Vile, Zero and the girl. Proto Man X shoves Zero and Vile out of the way, then he points his blaster at the girl. He fires as Mega Man X gets up and screams out "Noooooo!!!" The blast hits the girl and the head blows up. Mega Man X gets up and plunges at Proto Man X. Proto trys to tell X that it was not her. Mega Man X does no listen and the two brothers fight on. Zero and Vile get up and see that this turned out in their favor after all. Zero and Vile point their blasters at the fighting brothers.

Vile and Zero blast at the two fighting brothers. Vile's blast hits Mega Man X and it does no damage since he has the power suit on. Zero's blast is much more powerful thanks to his power suit and this blast hits Proto Man X. The blast tears right through Proto Man X and he blows up into unsaveable pieces. Mega Man X turns to Zero and lunges at him. Zero brings forth his laser sword to defend himself. Mega Man X takes the sword out of Zero's hand and smashes it into dust. Mega Man X then plunges his fist into Zero's gut and tears right through him. Zero's body and his power suit are trashed. Vile boots up his flying thrusters and flies over Mega Man X's head to get to Zero's body. Vile gets to it and teleports away. Mega Man X shoots out shots up at Vile's teleporting beam in anger. Mega Man X then stops when he sees that Vile is gone. Thunder starts to be heard in the distance as rain poors on Mega Man X. He looks down at the ground and looks at the scarf that once was around Proto Man X's neck. Mega Man picks it up thinking that if he only worked with his brother instead of fighting him then he may have been able to avoid this and find out why Proto Man X destroyed Roll. Suddenly Mega Man is once again downloaded with info on the past. This time it he find out what Roll looked like. The robot Vile and Zero had looked nothing like Roll. Mega Man X teleports back to the new base in sorrow. In an old repair shop Vile works heard on to restore Zero, hoping the new Zero has not been lost. In Mexico a door opens revealing a secret hide away. Suddenly in the darkness down there a robot activates. The robot wakes up and looks down at his chest. He sees that he has no scarf. Suddenly the robot walks out of the shadows revealing Proto Man X. Proto Man thinks to himself "Good thing the transfer was a success. I don't think I lost any info. I better check the computer with my memories on file to make sure. Mega Man X must hate himself thinking he was the one that lead to my death. Not the first time you almost lead me to my death. All those years ago when I first revealed my self to you. You had no idea I was testing you for Wily. (Mega Man 3) I must let him know I'm alive. I must first build my self a new duplicit body in case I am terminated again. I wonder how X is taking this?" Unknown to Proto Man X, Mega Man X has developed quite a temper over the last 30 years. Mega Man says this as he tears away at the new base in anger "I should have helped him!!!!! I should have brought help so this wouldn't happen!!!!!!! I should be deactivated for this! I don't deserve to live!!!!!!!" X destroys a communications window as Dasher and Basher race to Mega Man X to stop him from destroying the base. Basher whacks X over the head as Dasher speeds over to X to deactivate his power. X falls down to the ground lifeless. Dr. Cain walks over to him and tells Basher and Dasher to take him to the repair station. Later Dr. Cain finds that the power suit is affecting X's reasoning chip and that he will grow more and more unstable as long as he keeps the power suit on. Dr. Cain also finds that this is no power surge, but a reaction to X's power signature. Dr. Wily programed the suits to do this to Mega Man and Mega Man only. Dr. Cain is about to remove the suit just as Mega Man awakens and jumps to his feet. Dr. Cain runs over in front of X to stop him. Cain says "X stop! You don't know what your doing!" Mega Man X turns to Cain and says "I know darn well what I'm doing. I'm going to terminate my last living enemy, Vile!" X then shoves Cain out of the way and dashes out the door. Dr. Cain says to Basher and Dasher that he must be over reacting to the suit.

X storms out of the HQ and goes out in search of Vile. Rush sees this and turns to his hover board mode and follows. Basher gets out one of the Mech-robots and Dasher gets a hover bike to follow X. As Dr. Cain looks at them as they leave, Proto Man X teleports to Dr. Cain. Proto Man X asks were Mega Man X is. Dr. Light tells Proto Man X what happened and then asks him how he is alive. Proto Man X looks at Cain and says that is his secret. Proto Man X takes a hover bike and goes after in search of his brother. In the place Vile escaped to he is just about to reacitave Zero, in hopes he will be the new Zero. Zero wakes up and turns his head to Vile. Vile asks if the new Zero is there. Zero says yes. Zero gets up and asks were his saber beam is. Vile tells Zero that Mega Man X destroyed it. Vile says he found substitute that is just as good. Vile hands a saber lance to Zero. Zero takes it. Zero then looks at his body. Zero sees that there are new parts on him. Vile says he had to improvise. Zero likes all these changes because there is now even less of the old Zero. Suddenly a huge blast hits the place the two are in like a hurricane. When the blast stops and the place is in ashes Zero sees who did this. Out of the dust comes Mega Man X. X used the power of his power suit to do such a powerful blast. Vile gets up and fires 3 plasma shots from his cannon. The shots hit X and they do nothing. Zero then brings out his new weapon and lunges at X. Zero strikes X 4 times and no damage comes to him. Zero jumps back and says he didn't want it to be this way. Zero then screams out "5654566vgghsd--activate district sequence!" The power suit on X reacts to this code and starts to flash. X pulls it off in fear of his live. He throws it off and a huge blast comes out of it. Zero says he only knew of that code for the power suits. Mega Man X comes to his senses and sees that what he was planning on doing was wrong. Suddenly Rush, Basher, Dasher, and Proto Man X get there. Proto Man jumps off his bike as Basher holds Vile and Zero at bay with the missiles of the Mech. Proto Man X goes over to X and asks if he is alright. X says yes. He also says he is sorry for betraying him. X then gives Proto Man X his scarf back. Proto Man X takes it and says thank you. Vile then says "What a touching moment!" Basher remind Vile of his missiles pointing at him. Vile says he hasn't forgotten. Vile and Zero then teleport away as fast as they could. X says he is following them. Proto Man X says he's going with him.

Mega Man X and Proto Man X lock onto Vile and Zero's transporting trail and teleport after them. Rush teleports with them. Basher and Dasher look around them selves and see that they are the ones left to clean up the mess they made. Basher says their not leaving them behind. Basher teleports after them. Dasher decided to do the same. Vile and Zero land in the middle of a desert. Zero asks why they are here. Vile brings out a controller and says this is why. Vile pushes the buttons and the ground starts to rumble. Zero shakes in fear of what Vile is doing. Suddenly out of the sand a small laser cannon appears. Suddenly the laser cannon moves higher to show that it is on top of a buried fort. The fort moves up very high and then stops. Zero gets up from falling on the ground from the shakeing and asks Vile were he got this. Vile says " I always knew I'd be on my own some day so why not have my own fortress. A master piece is it not?" Zero says in response "It looks good. Can the others teleport in." Vile says "There is a force field protection grid that I can only disable. They wound have to destroy the main generator out side of the fort to disable it, and I have a surprise when they try to destroy it!" Vile and Zero then go inside the fort. Suddenly Mega Man X, Proto Man X, and Rush arrive. They teleport near the main generator. Proto Man X says that the generator must be destroyed to get the force shield down. Proto Man X walks over to the generator and aims his arm cannon at it. Just as he is about to fire chains fire out of the ground and tie up Proto Man X. Suddenly sand serpent robots jump out of the sand and start moving towards Mega Man X and Rush. Proto Man X trys to get free but the more he struggles the tighter the chains get. Rush nudges his nose next to X's leg. X is very confused for he can not under stand what Rush is trying to tell him. Suddenly X gets another download. He gets the memory of the enhanced Rush armor. X calls for Rush. Rush jumps onto X and turns into a battle suit. Suddenly one of the sand robots fire darts at X. X dodges them by flying over them with his new ability to fly. Mega Man X then starts to charge him self up and then he releases this energy. X's hand suddenly comes off of him and flies towards the sand robots. The arm bashes through one and destroys it. The arm keeps traveling and dose the same thing to the other robots. After all the robots are destroyed X's arm returns to him. X then goes over to Proto Man X to get him free of the chains. X blasts them off and then Rush jumps off of X and returns to normal. Proto Man X thanks X and then turns to fire at the generator. Just as he is about to fire a bright light comes from the generator. This light blind the 3.

Suddenly the light starts to take form. The 3 can see and a new and improved Bass stands before them. X asks who he is. Bass says he is truly the original Bass. He says that he got his memory copied some time after Wily's death. The copied memory was put into a robot called Vile. Bass was now Vile and I was left with an old out of date body unlike Vile who had the newest weapons. Bass got mad at Vile so he attacked him. The original Bass lost the fight and Vile completely destroyed him. Vile then thought of him self as the true Bass. Proto Man X ask how he is alive now. Bass says he isn't alive. He says he some how turned into a ghost type form. Bass says he wandered aimlessly until X was found by Dr. Cain. Bass says he is now finally going to have the last shot with you. Bass fires an energy ball at Proto Man X. Proto Man X falls to the ground. Mega Man X trys to jump kick Bass but Bass moved out of the way in time. X then fires plasma at Bass. Bass gets hit by it and he suddenly fades away. X helps his brother up and asks him what that was all about. Proto Man X says he has no idea. Proto Man X then fires at the generator and it explodes letting the 3 in. As the 3 teleport in Basher and Dasher get there. The two go in to see if they can help.

Mega Man X, Proto Man X, and Rush go up the tower with little standing in their way. Basher and Dasher catch up with them and the 5 head up the tower. Zero sees that they are about to reach them so he asks Vile why they aren't being stopped. Vile says he has his reasons. Suddenly the 5 bust into the control room at the top of the tower were Zero and Vile are. Zero immediately fires at them. Rush gets hit by a blast from Zero and falls to the ground. Dasher tries to zoom close to Zero but Zero trips him and then picks him up. Zero throws him out of a window and Dasher falls. Mega Man X then fires at Zero's face. The blast hits Zero and tears half of his face off. Zero gets enraged and lunges at X. The two battle on and on. Proto Man X and Basher stand out of the way. Proto Man X then notices that Vile has no attacked or said anything since they got up here. Proto Man X waves his hand infront of Vile's face to see if he is still active. Vile then grabs Proto Man X's hand and crushes his arm cannon. Vile knocks Proto Man X out and then picks him up. Basher trys to stop Vile but is unsuccessful. Vile steps over to the window and hangs Proto Man X out the window. X shoves Zero out of the way and blasts him in the stomach. Zero falls down with a huge hole in his side. X goes over to Vile and demands his brother's release. Vile says "X you will face me on top of the tower or I'll drop your brother, and might I add that your friend Dasher didn't seem to servie the fall." X says he will. Vile says he knew he would! Vile drops Proto Man on the floor as Vile teleports up on top of the tower. Mega Man X follows him. Once up there. X asks Vile why he wanted this. Vile lunges at X grabs him and says "Because I'm the true Bass! I possessed Vile's body after your brother defeated me. I need Vile to get you up here. You see with a host I have much more power. Vile then starts to glow with electrical energy. Vile then sends 300000 volts of bio-electric power into X's body. X's body can't take this much power. Vile says as he harms X "Dr. Wily's revenge will now be brought to you through me! I've waited 30 long years for this moment and noting will stop me!!!!!!!!!!" Suddenly a huge blast hits Vile in the back. This blast disrupts Vile's bio-energy serge and sends all the energy back into Vile's body and desroys it. Bass' ghost like image is seen floating up then it disappears. X falls to the ground, still alive but not functioning. Suddenly as the dust from the explostion fades away you see Zero damaged but still functioning standing there. Zero fired that blast at Vile. The old Zero finally found his way home. Zero then losses all power and falls off the tower. Zero used the last of his back up power to save X. A few hours later Proto Man X regains his strength and is able to carry his brother and Rush back to base to be repaired. They found Zero's body, scraped, down at the bottom of the tower. No one found out that Zero saved Mega Man X.
