It's supposed to be "MegaMan ZEX" or something like that. From what I understand, it's a lot like Neon Genesis Evangelion and Micro Machines at the same time: you play as an actual human (GASP!) which has the ability to summon some weird defender power in the form of a MegaMan Zero-style armor. The playable characters are a boy and a girl, which armors both look like X.  I dunno about the person who looks like Zero though.
Either way, it's gonna be SWEET

Is it just me, or does nobody really care that much about the MegaMan Cartoon series?

No offense to anyone who does, but I come here frequently (well, not as frequently as I'd like), yet I fail to ever see any changes around here! I almost never see any new posts about it, never hear any new ideas, any desires, any compliments, any negative comments, no nothing!

Come on, people! (Not to sound impatient or nothin)

Has anyone here ever played this long-since-forgotten-Japanese-RPG-text-based adventure?
If not, DO SO!!

PS: If anyone's a fan of Chrono Cross, this game really clarifies things a bit. Considering that it's an older game, it gives more of a background history for things involving Kid, Serge, and Lynx.

Just thought I'd throw that up in the air.

Hey, come on now...

You gotta give Sega some credit for mixing Metroid, GTA, and Sonic together. In what other game out there can you:
a. steal a motorcycle and shoot at an alien hovercraft down I-49
b. kill an alien, pick up it's weapon, and operate it without ANY training
c. get so pissed off at people/aliens that you either blast through the level super-fast or blow up in place to deal damage  or
d. collect the Chaos Emeralds for a chance to kill SONIC!!

...and for their first try, I think they did a very good job.
...after all, every one of us has wanted to plug Sonic full of holes at some point or another. Not me, though. Sonic rocks.

Yes, there are some things that make the game a little funny at times (like the Black Bull and Blue Falcon references, or the tendency to fall into voids), but this is what a Sega game should be. It just needs a little work.

Cartoons / This isn't a video game you're playing!

Alright...getting quite some positive feedback :D

You see, I had an idea for how the weapons system could work (and it seemed really sweet at the time):

Let's say Mega Man and Bomb Man are duking it out at Kennedy International Airport, just like in the first episode. Bomb Man throws a bomb, Mega Man shoots it out and shoots Bomb Man in the process. Here's where the real fun comes in: every time you strike a Robot Master, he gets stunned temporarily. Of course, the size of the Robot Master also helps to determine his reaction time. But regardless: This is your chance to "grab" his weapon (Prerequisite: Enemy is stunned & push O button when near him). Depending on how much health he has left will determine the probability of Mega Man successfully obtaining his weapon; more health means a lesser chance, less health means a higher chance. So technically, the Robot Master doesn't have to be dead for you to get his weapon.  8)
And yes, if you do successfully get the robot's weapon, the good ol' cinematic will play with the schematic molding into Mega's head. So awesome...
It's up to you, you could skimp out on the offensive and try your luck, or you could go through the trouble of beating the snot out of him, but you'll get the weapon almost guaranteed.

In a nutshell, if you play your cards right, you could go through a whole area, nabbing every one of the Robot Masters' weapons without blowing up a single robot. Ooh, I should make that a side mission...

Here's something that caught my eye...

When Mega Man said "This isn't a video game you're playing!" in the episode 'Ice Age', it got me to thinking...

There are many video games out there from and for Mega Man...

But what if someone were to make one that was TRUE to the TV series?
 :P

Y'know:  Mega Man and everyone else would be all buff, and you could attempt to grab the other robots' weapons, and Roll would provide side assistance, and you could call on Rush in any one of his vehicle forms, no matter what the level...you know, that sorta thing.
 :D

I'll be attending a school for 3D game-making soon. I was thinking that it would be awesome if I could make a game where you play as buff Mega Man in his realm, battling the evil Dr. Wily's robots in places from the show, like Kennedy International Airport, and Robosaurus Park, all while re-enacting events from each of the episodes.

That would SO rock, man. (Rock man HAH!!)

What do you guys think?

Dude, Crystal Man IS the reason that episode exists. No question. Even though his powers weren't top-notch, they were definitely awesome.
"Mega Man, look out!"  <Mega Man> " "

Mega X, The Beginning, Cold Steel....you know what? They're all really cool in retrospect.

Ah, sorry. I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Luke, and, uh...well, I'm new to the forums.
I've been watching Mega Man since it aired on TV, back in 1994 (holy moly). Although, I'm pretty sure most of you all have done the same thing, too. Heh.  :)
