Link from Wind Waker's already been confirmed.  They got rid of Young Link for him.  Ridley has also been confirmed as well.  As for the others, I dunno, it seems like more of a fan list to me (Link's Uncle?  Dr. Wright?)

Also, a big no to Sora.  Please, Squiare, you can put Geno in, just leave everyone else out of it.  Colonel Volgin is a weird suggestion.  Thomas would be fucking awesome, though.  Especially if they kept his original voice.

I still think tetris pieces would be a good idea.

One button to switch between all of the pieces and each one has its own qualities, and ALL of them can damage people on the same row as them

I really hope Nintendo doesn't add anymore relative characters, I dont wanna see the entire cast of Mario crammed in there, it just takes any chance of another main character to step up.

For example, if I have Mario, and Luigi (Toad would be ok) im fine, I don't want to see 346262362362356 variations ranging from paper, to fire, to tanooki suit. Nor, do I want to see everyone crammed in there to all 7 of the Koopa children, to Birdo, the clouds with smiley faces, those damn creepy trees from Super Mario World, and so on. Let the main characters (maybe some secondary) have a chance to be in first.

Personally, i'd like to see a push for some more 3rd party characters. Who wouldn't want to see Sora bringing the keyblade down on Kirby, or Fox? (Never happen, but a fanboy can dream)

Sora would probably fit in a lot more better...but then again Snake doesn't fit at all, so meh.

I'd want someone like a Moggle in it, but it seems like Nintendo doesn't want to add in generic characters like, Koopa, or Metroid into the game.

Which is good.
