Thanks, Sir Kibble! I was wondering what games would be downloadable.

Do we have to pay for the old games, or are they just a free download?

Hmm, I see a Final Fantasy V screenshot on there.  How come that isn't on the list?  Oh, and by the way, you DO have to pay a sloght fee for these.  It wouldn't make sense if it was free, it'd be like Nintendo supporting ROMs and Emulators.  I heard this at the 2005 E3 Press Conference.

That list might be fake.  I looked over the three Japanese page scans and there isn't anything remotely resembling a list on any page.

However, I'm pretty sure all the games listed in that "translated" list are first-party and second-party, so theoretically they would all be free (except for some licensed games with issues, like GoldenEye, NFL...)
agerly anticipating:
Super Smash Bros. Revolution, Metroid Prime 3, Zelda: Twilight Princess, and last but not least, DDR SuperNOVA!

Yeah, seeing Mike Tyson's Punch-Out (and not the re-released Mr. Dream version) made me suspicious.

So, if those are really the only games downloadable... That's it? All of the games I find worth owning on that list for the N64 and SNES I already own on cartridge. Man, I was hoping it would be any game, like Secret of Mana. There goes my reason for wasting hundreds of dollars on a new console...
I see Starcraft 64 on that list. Isn't that owned by Blizzard and that company with the picture of the elephant standing on the television?

Since I see Final Fantasy V on there, I'm pretty sure Square's making all of their games available for download.  It's just my prediction, but it makes sense.

Also, some games like Super Scope 6 and BS Zelda don't seem like they'd be available, considering their peripheral support or heavy patching in Zelda's case...

MvC2 is for CPS3, the enxt level above CPS2, and it's not quite at a good emulation level yet. They have the roms (I know a guy that has the MvC2 rom, I can talk to him) but a working emulator isn't made for the CPS3 yet. The deencryption isn't done yet. Soon, though. it's being worked on.
