A Valiant Gush
« on: August 30, 2005, 10:41:15 pm »

Anyway, with power being out at our house, my family had to entertain ourselves. That worked for all of five minutes. So, we decided to see a movie. There didn't seem to be much that we'd all like, so we chose Valiant. A movie about pidgeons. Oh boy.

It actually didn't turn out that bad. It was pretty funny, and the animation was quite nice. It's from Disney's answer to Pixar leaving, the studio's called.. uhh.. Starts with a V... Well, it doesn't really matter, I suppose.

The story's not too bad. Well, it's a bit over the top, but by no means a bad story. As we all know, druing World War II, without email people had to rely on messenger pidgeons to get pidgeonmea-- messages across enemy lines. This is where the Royal Homing Pidgeon Service comes in, they uhh... send pidgeons into war.

Okay, okay, I'm not good at making things sound worthwhile, but ya know what? Shut up. That's what. Go watch the movie, it's a pretty good time. And besides, there's nothing wrong with a little British propaganda, is there?

I was having doubts, then saw the PG rating. Now I'm intrigued.

It's an alright movie. Not as good as some others, but well worth the time spent watching it.

Personally, I've always liked Dreamworks more than Pixar (Go Shrek!) But Pixar is a cool studio. I can't wait for the awesomeness they come out with nex though. Pixar'll be 42 times as cool without Disney.

Am I the only one who hates Pixar movies besides Toy Story?  I never saw The Incredibles but Finding Nemo was a piece of crap if you ask me.

Finding Nemo was pretty cool... Not the best movie ever, but it was pretty funny.
