Happy 100th, Alberta

Many of you don't know this.

I'm actually not very Canada proud.

DUN DUN DUN!

It's a true story.

I am FAR more loyal to my home province of Alberta. The main reason that I'm as Canada proud as I am is because Alberta is part of Canada.

Alberta has no debt, PLENTY of surplus money, a rapidly increasing in quality school system, better wages paid than other provinces, actualyl SANE politicians (this, peeps, is the biggest of all. Ralph Klein is better than your children [and Bush too.])

And, 100 years ago today, Alberta was established as an official province of Canada. 100 years ago today people, my home land and pride came into being.

Here's to another happy 100, Alberta. *stands and salutes*

*starts singing Oh, Canada, but changes the words to:*
Oh, Alberta... ummm... that's all I know. Crap... *note to self: look up words to Oh, Canada*

Well, congrats to your province Swift, and here's to another century.

O Al-berta!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Al-berta, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Al-berta, we stand on guard for thee.

O Al-berta, we stand on guard for thee.

I should record my voice and post it, thus making you regret that statement.  I am a HORRIFYING TERRIBLE  singer.

Cuz I can make my own fireworks, and I was dead tired and totally pooped from 12 hours of straight yard work. I wanted to sit in front of y computer, and.... I'm glad I did.
