Has anybody else noticed that in the Anniversary collection, if you turn on beat (in the options menu, it gives you hints and whatnot) some of the older games have a lot of levels remixed in them. A lot of them sound really cool, and itd be awesome if somebody could get them for us.

I agree. When i found this page a few years back, I was astounded. Such content, and it's presented in a very good, easy to navigate way with no pop-ups. Very excellent site, indeed.

I have the GCN version.  So I'm stuck with the originals.  It's a mixed bag for me.  I like the new look of the energy bars and whatnot, but it's cool to hear some remixes, but I just couldn't get used to them while playing the original game.

easy to navigate

glad to hear someone say that. sometimes i wonder if anyone even "gets" the navigation system. this was one of my more "out there" designs, that's for sure.

Thanks, Protoman. But, I just had to compliment on the naviagtion. It's so easy. Other mp3 sites you have to click back lots, but here you don't need to, nor do you have the oppurtunity to!

I commend you on a very astounding site.
Please forgive me on what I am about to do next.

hmmm oook. all signs are pointing toward keeping the site almost exactly like this should i feel the need to rewrite it into a fully automated monstrosity sometime.

Dude, I agree in some ways, but you gotta admit, the new sounds really pick up on the feeling sometimes!  I mean, what's better than a really fast-paced battle theme for Dr. Wily, stage 1-2 in Mega Man 2?  By the way, Protoman, a small request, if I may.  Can you find a way to rip that Protoman secret music onto the site soon for me, please?  I desperatly want to hear it in a place other than my brother's house!  If this site goes down, I'll lose all interest in Mega Man, so KEEP IT UP, MAN!!! WTG, dude! :D  8)

I'm thinking he means the short song that plays when Protoman appears in Megaman III.  But that's already on the site...

In mmIII, when Megaman is falling and Proto's whisteling, while Mega is still in the air You'll hear the extended version of Protoman's whistle tune.

Hope this helps.

Actually, I was referring to the secrets section in the main menu of the PS2 and GCN versions.  If you fufill a certain requirment, you are rewarded with a remixed version of the ending music of Mega Man 3.

Sorry 'bout the confusion.   :)
